LATEST ESCALATION IN THE FRINGE WAR

Millions are dead. The numbers differ, depending on which govnerment you ask, but it is save to say, that ORCA murdered at least 62 million people including their own operatives on DEVON, when they fired up their planet-killer device, codenamed “Breath of Death”. Investigation is ongoing, but first reports hint on a collective death within a few minutes via suffocating. we will keep you updatet.

Be not fooled by the innocent looks and the cute voice of hers, she is a monster. And a capable highly intelligent monster at that. You see her, or get intel on her? Don`t try anything stupid and inform authorities ASAP.

Meet the (current) leaders of the Ryoshi! Kazumi “Oneechan” Fujikija (left picture), daughter of Harakasido Fujikija, who died in a freak-op-fuck-majorly-up-accident last year. Word is she might just be the best netrunner of the area, regardless of her apparent youth, since she is only 15 years old. She is described as cold, unempathic and detached from reality in more then one way. The picture on the right shows the actual number one of the Ryoshi, Mike Zamatsuna, one OG street-kid gone gangster from Kabuki-Plaza-District. He is the real deal when it comes to techno pirates. There is nothing really he has not done in his particular profession. corpo-espionage, cyberterrorism, icing, blackmail, frying, deep-dive-dealing and even soulclepping seems to be on his plate. Thanks to his OG-charme and charisma, he gained a huge following within Shiguen territory. People that survived his “wrath” say he is one mean Rikker, that does not get tired manipulating people and even torture his way through Kabuki.

Shiguen Prime. Kabuki City. A raging pot of light and noise, bristling with the energies of planetkiller nukes. This city swallows you whole if you let her. Monumental skyscrapers overshadow the filthy streets of the industrial slums in which poor souls work and die to generate the credits, which fill the exec`s pockets to the brim. Alas, or at last, one might say, the tides seem to turn against it`s creators. A series of organisated crime based events took place in the recent past shattering the illusion of inconsequential power of the likes of Mikoshi and Arasaka. Both of them see themselfes urging for security when their RND officers were kidnapped following huge explosions destabilizing their infrastucture just enough to make such a coup even possible. While in the south war on CSM reaches ever new hights, the homefront consists of political and industrial espionage and schemes even between families. To put things into perspective, let me tell you who is the new major player in the Kabuki area. Ever heard of the “Ryoshi”, or “Huntsmen” as they go for outsiders? Yeah well, these chooms be exactly the ones gnawing away ont the citie`s bozzes roots. One has to wonder if thats for the better of for the worse of its regular inhabitants.

These are the first pictures of a giant battle over Devon, which is one of the major ressource-hubs in the fringe systems  of the USE MilTec. Reports state a new EM weapon was used by a small part of fighter forces on ORCA side, which initially brought the upper hand to them. The battle is ongoing, while a majore ground offensive started on the surface. days ago we reported of rumors telling of countless landing ships entering the system. Now we know for a fact, that these are indeed in system and indeed on Devon.

Forged in battle the ever victorious Aegis fleet celebrates next month. Be there, when Aegis` current lineup turns 25 years.

The “Ripple-Glow Field” in Belland has been declared a military “no-go zone”. Aside from severe radiation and ultra-hazardous environmental dangers, the USE declared this part of the system off limits.

Commander Geyers said, “lethal force would be deployed swiftly and without question” to all trespassers.

The War has now reached the last systems planets of the fringe war belt. ORCA and USE forces are constantly clashing in a persistant battle over territory. The losses are of an unpresedented magnitude, and both major factions seem to ignore the pleadings of the other factions for a cease fire. Experts expect the war to reach other systems then the fringe belt soon, which would force other major players into action.

The universal commity of ethics, condemned the war as avoidable and driven by low moral motives.

President Jung, CEO and President of the Shiguen Federation consideres severe trade embargos to both participants in the war, to enforce peace negotiations.
