Following the first rounds of tournament-battles, the ECB`s opened bloodier and more volatile then ever before, reaching unimaginable hights in viewerships and quotas. The battles so far were full of surprises and excitement.

Scientists on Kariaki are rumored to have found an ancient base made of dark stone, which supposedly shows signs of advanced and hyper intelligent life, which came before us. Down with the sickness
An exotic sickness has swept the cities of Pentagon this last few weeks. Scientists call it Muta-fever, it is a rare and completely unknown disease, which happens on a cellular level, mutating several parts of the human cell, resulting in massive organ damage and growth irregularities as well as malign cancerous diseases, which were believed to be a thing of the past. Scientist of both Shiguen Empire and United Splash Nebula Empire are working tirelessly on a cure or at least some hints on how to prevent this insidious disease.
Sir Gregory save and sound
The Royal Carracun “Sir Gregory” was returned to his owner by a group of upcmoing mercenaries, who call themselves “Stratagem”. The Carracun`s owner, Lord Howard L. Flerellis of “Senate” was greatly relieved and thanked the group for their efforts, paying them more then tripple the officially announced sum of MCr 10,0.

ICap strikes FlexKo contract
Following the massive succsess of FlexTape and variant products produced and sold by ICap, the civil part of ICap struck a massive deal with [USNE]`s “Hennes and Mauritz” the giant civil aeronautic-suits developer. The deal was made for the next 10 years and is rumored to be worth over 200 billion credits.
Streamlined law this year
In a recent CredSec podcast, Mr. James Caboree hinted on an initial release of a streamlined law-statute, at the end of this year. This would mean a massive reduction of burecraucy in the law-sector.
Ms. Delaware Fignit arming up
One secundary event, or for some maybe even main event of the year, the first official Ms. Connect tournament will be held close to Christmas this year. Following the announcement, one of the currently most booked “models”, Ms. Delaware Fignit claims an early victory, threatening other contestants.

Connect Base accident turned ugly
A Connect base within [ORCA] space, suffered a terrible fate when a gas leak on the moon named “Sarpin” destroyed part of it, exposing the base and its crew to the vacuum of space. All personell was pronounced dead on site, and the base is mostly unusable at this point. When investigated, local police-forces discovered a room filled with glas tubes filled with fluid, which seem to be prepared to host a human being within. This rises some questions, the Connect corporation will have to answer in the future. For some time now, Connect is facing some backlash for their handling of “E-Thot” models, as well as some questionable business-practises.
Caeros being cared for
In a time of massive civil unrest and instability, CredSec offered to support the limping faction [ORCA].
CredSec established a grand Base of operations on Caeros, one of the core-worlds of the [ORCA] conglomerate. This is a complete novum within this area, and CredSec obviously is the only candidate able to get into such a position. We are all positive, that their presence on Caeros is the best thing that happened to [ORCA] for a long time.
Fringe-Belt facing Terror
A name many have spent years to forget or at least to not constantly think about. [A S U] ! ! !
A number of cowardly attacks happened within systems and planets among the Fringe-Belt-Territory, supposedly done by [ASU] guerilla warriors. Mainly [ORCA] and [WIG] facilities were hit, but one ship plunged intself into a [NGE] shipyard inside the Jena Asteroid Field. A number of assets were heavily damaged, slowing the production-process significantly until the facility has been substantially repaired.
The attacks were claimed by Jarred “Hook” Dackin, who claims to be the last remaining son of a terrorist from the hights of the [ASU] terror faction.
Tyrael Hephos holy
Major functionary, Monsoir Tyrael Hephos, of the holy catholic church will be pronounced holy, while alive, by Pope Benedictus MXVI himself, later this year. He recieves this honor for ending the incidents of burning during the separation of church and eden child.
Asteroid hits Bible
Planet Bible, in the Campo system was destroyed by an asteroid impact, that hit a valley on the Reery Mountain range, destroying Hampton, a major city 30 kilometers south of the impact site, killing 4 million people instantly. The combined help from [USNE] rapid response teams and CredSecs Critical Incident Force [CIF], made a quick evacuation possible. The people living in the northern hemisphere are not in danger for now, but the environmental dangers following the impact, will be quite significant. We will update you on the matter.
[SHIF] = Wildlife empire?
This last few months and weeks in particular, hundreds of ships arrived in the Shiguen Empire, transporting vastly dangerous wildlife species from different corners of the sector. Either there is a Meeting of the biggest creature collectors in Shiguen space, which would be weird, since those are deemed criminals in the Shiguen Empire, or the Shiguen government decided to really spice up the local fauna.
[NGE] becoming bigger
[ACO] finally did stike a deal with [NGE], selling them Xerxes and Crucix, finally establishing New Germania as one of the big players among the factions in the sector. With its close ties to the CredSec corporation, they are a substantial power within the area. Their latest successes, in parts thanks to CredSec`s financial support, showed most impressively, when they revealed their next technological jump, namely the “Rhein-Class”. CredSec will establish the initial infrastructure within the newly gained systems for the [NGE] companies to savely migrate.
Nissin in shock
Today we mourn Dr. Jeremy Kalden-Fa, leading scientist on Nissin`s fuel and efficiency scientific group. A service will be held within the close family. He passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at an early age of 52 years leaving behind a son and two wifes.
Don`t fear the Reaper
Arno “The Soulreaper” Sillince, has been captured by a special operations team of [USNE] MilTec-forces. He is temporarely held in custody within the old very-high-security prison on Frostis in the Daenos system. Officials stateed his late actions would need thorough work to be made into a solid case, that, this time without technical errors, would result in a final judgement for Mr. Sillince. We are glad to announcce, that with him, a huge danger has been banned from the sectors streets and decks.
SDF - Alliance reaches milestone
Weeks after the great success of operation Hydra, a massive milestone in the SDF-Alliance ambition was reached by bisecting the [CSM] offensive into a western and a eastern wing, seperating a huge part of their armada from support and reinforcements.
Next step, according to our military experts, would be establishing a stronghold and a line of defenses between those fronts to permanently destabilising the [CSM] front an reinforcing any army in the area, to maybe, in the future, even strike back into [CSM] territory to reclaim, what was taken from Shiguen.
Obervatory delights
Observatory has built and introduced a new scientific spacestation, the “Archimedes” in the “OBS – ES 017-System”. Goal of the station and its crew is to further investigate the universes secrets by obeserving and studying one of the super massive black holes at the center of the LMC, of which the Splash Nebula Sector is a part. This particular one is called the “Heart of the Void” and was first deicovered by Captain Bartosz Lubomir Zoldak.
ECB`s officially started
Connect and the Shiguen government officially started the next iterastion and first of a much more dedicated season of ECB`s. Both declared, the whole event will get a complete remaster and many new events surrounding the ECB`s will spring to live and give us raw and honest entertainment 24/7 so to speak.

Kenson Group merging
Following the (relatively) recent death of Fernando Raul Ezekiel Caeros, head of the Caeros family, a time of instability struck the [ORCA] conglomerate. One of the big winners of such civil unrest is the Kenson Group who initially was a smaller player in the [ORCA] territories, with their only high-profile corpo being Lavender Chemicals, which changed last month when a huge deal succeeded and Kenson group bought the Emeral Medical company. This makes the Kenson Group one of the top 30 most influential companies within the area.
Germania - A call to arms
We present to you the latest result of [NGE]`s new found german engineering and top-notch weapon-system-development. The Rhein-Class super-destroyer. A ship so heavily armed, it is ridicolous. It is the first ship to feature the Wall V1-class capital ship shield (formerly codenamed Berlin) in its first battle-ready configuration. The ship is built to feature both kinetic weapons made in [USNE] as well as modified energy weaponry from [SHIF] forges. This is the ultimate answer to [CSM]`s Missile-ships and destroyer-swarms. It reminds us of the battleships of old with a freakin facelift. This platform will be heavily tested in the SDF-Alliance ambition.

Operation Hydra
A small attachment of Shiguen Empire forces was sent into the Pupunooli system while the most of the rest of the joined SDF Alliance fleet was fighting in the south and south west to slow down the [CSM] offensive. The operation was called “Hydra” and has been a huge success, cutting supportlines from the main front of the Magellan Fleet.

Heavy fighting on CredSec-front
In the southern regions of [UNSE] territory, CredSec is facing heavy resistance of desperate [CSM] forces. The battles are becoming rather ressource-intensive for the CredSec defenders. A war mainly fought with autonomous combat units, produced by CredSec`s Dynatron Forges in Mikasa. The war efforts are multiplied up there resulting in the release of the “FARCU Tarantula V” last month, which will support the standing army of Wolf MK1 and MK2 “officer variants”.
Critics claim the massive useage of autonomous robotics could hold unknown risks and might lead to an uprise of the machines, which our experts identified as science fiction exclusive nonesense.
