Dreadnought stationary
The massive [CSM] Dreadnought has been stationary for quite some time our sources state. Not only has there not been a single fight in which it directly engaged, but it is not making any steps to reach the active front. Our military experts closely monitor the situation, but are clueless about why one of the most extreme technical advancements of the enemy is not being used as such. We have been assured, that there are operations underway to examine what is going on with this huge enemy asset. We will update yopu on the matter once information become available.
A new era of cooperation
Washington, 01.04.3893. A large military parade is being held, to honor not just the fallen heros of the previous battles in the SDF, but also the SDF itself and the partners, that are being made. On the occasion an official completely commited Shiguen Empire embassy is being commissioned. A team of 24 Diplomats will stay in that embassy in the heart of [USNE]-space, led by Matsune Arasaka, granddaughter to Kabukisama Arasaka, and diplomat extraordinaire from the university of traditions in Kabuki. Meanwhile the same is happening on Moskau’s Jisay, in the city of Umimaru. An embassy with 24 diplomats under (retired) Navy Grandadmiral Fox Cleever will be built.
[SFV] Yatzuyama missing
A specialised science vessel, the Yatzuyama has gone missing in the Shinigami system. The vessel was studying the physics of a spontanious formed black hole in one of its neighbouring systems when the communication suddenly broke up. The ship has not been seen or contacted since our sources state. It might very well be some pirate raid being responsible, but the ship was escorted by a not unsignificant amount of military craft in the area. A supporting group of one carrier and 3 destroyers went also missing. The Yatzuyama was one of the best equipped vessels in its class and was meant to bring future breakthroughs in the sfield of cosmological studies regarding black holes.
ECB`s on hold - pending investigation
Connect is having their ranks of workers investigated to ensure an incident like the one regarding Arasakas influence in the randomisation processs, can not occure again. We will further update you how long the investigation will likely take. In the meantime, the qualification however can go on.
Codename Caspersky
The cyber-criminal Casper Ito, nicknamed Caspersky is allegedly responsible for one of the most tragic orbital station accidents in recent history. He might have triggered a critical protocol error on Endurance 4 which desynced orbital position propulsion systems and lead to a collision with some space debree in high orbit around Deicus in the Foni system. The ruin is still being searched for pockets of survivors.
[ACO] assets rerouted
For weeks now [ACO] assets have been on the way reaching its newly declared coreworlds. The coreworlds are on the outer most western pars of the sector. Precatio will be THE coresystem and seat of power while Eden, Pope and Thora will be the main populated areas. Theses will also be the worlds where people from outside will have restricted acces, but on Precatio there is currently a nofly-zone for outworlders being established.
[CSM] Capital all in
A fleet of capital ships just took Aethra and is now headed into [USNE] core territory. CredSec is taking the blunt force at the moment providing much of the needed ressources to, hopefully, repell this battle front.
Connect premiers new tech at ECB`s
This last years ECB seems to have been working hard at a new type of streaming format. The new data streaming format is called CDDS (Container Dependent Data Streaming), and is said to be 5x more efficient then previously iterations in the dive/deepdive tech. This will drastically increase the information which can be brought to the audience. Connect even hinted at something called “complete tolerance consciousness (ctc)”, a kind of deepdive tech which allows the user to relive a authentic 3rd party consciousness to its fulles extend. Though this is something, which should only interest the absolute deepdive enthusiast it is nevertheless fantastic news in the entertainment industry.
Library update complete
The SecNet library has been successfully updated to version 7.3893.5.61882.67 (SNlib7.x). During the update some breaches were unveiled that caused a hotfix patching throughout the sector, making it a lot saver in the future. The problems showed that after the update has reached every last information centre in the sector a refactor of the server and information encryption systems in place is necessary.
Bishop second in command
Bishop Augustus XVII was announced deputy governour, albeit in an advisory function, on Morpheus` Galway. The capital city is the defacto seat of power to the Wilson Group faction. This announcement was followed closely after [ACO] declared the splitting of their territories. Bishop Augustus, Ramsey Bollard with real name, is no stranger to the [WIG] however, he is a close relative to one of the most beloved noble families in Wilson space, the O`Calleighs of Ragnhil.
Huge SDF offensive underway
The SDF is pushing into hostile territory with massive forces. Thus probably trying to split the front into two arms. Since the western part of this front relays heavily on the support routes from the eastern territories, A collaps of the western [CSM]-ambition is likely the iminent goal. The offensive is launched and supportet from the Hagris Depot and productioan facilities.

Race for territory
In the north-west of the sector, the peacefull (for now) race for territory has begun. Experts claim this has a potential to destabilise the area once again. This probably was not what [ACO] anticipated.
[ORCA] devastated by inner unrest
Following the big famine, which officially just ended last year, albeit some planets still struggling, the civil unrest is at an all time peak. Hundreds of different terror organisations have emerged, fighting against the plutoratic conglomerate, which is [ORCA]. A most recent series of attacks hit the brittle infrastructure of food production facilities on Azir, in the Allgerd system. This has the potential to destabilise the area once again, after it was just so stabilised months ago. [ORCA] officials should be at least somewhat satisfied since the prices went up immideatly after the news spread, since people are afraid of, once again, starving.
A mere coincidence?
Arasaka favourite, the Sprava very young and very ambitioned Sprava Group, played a key-role in the findings, leading to the innocence verdict of Arasaka in the recent ECB-randomisation-incident. We will keep you updated about how the whole situation develops.
Big news from Rheinland
After weeks and months of speculation, Rheinland Yards just dropped a huge bomb.
Unlike we initially thought the development of a new type of shipbased powergrid was NOT the focus of the giant shipyard. Instead, project “Berlin” was a codename for something some of us might thought was science fiction for the longest time. This week, Rheinland revealed the “Mauer V1” shield module for capital class battle ships. It provides some kind of energyshield, guarding the ship from energy based and ionised weaponry. The powerusage however is gigantic, which makes it, at least at this point, only feasable for capital class ships.
CredSec increasing movablity
CredSec is significantly investing in cartography and astrogatior support, to boost the SDF`s ability to move and get supplements to the front as fast and reliable as possible. The forming of “routes” of known and cartographed waylines to travel on, so to speak, is very much a step up in survivability within the sector.Â
Nissin-turnover huge ECB card-game
Following the release of Spravas ECB-cardgame, Nissin peaked in terms of revenues after selling millions of copies. A huge online trading community has sprung to live, betting over the most rare of the card sets.
Arasaka free of charges
Just recently Arasaka was part of a a huge turmoil in the, supposed, randomisation process of Connects ECB Tournament. Turns out a Connect mole was probably the reason trying to slander the big player.Â
Luckily the whole situation could be cleared and the Connect-functionary was removed. The whole process is under continued evaluation, top make sure such a disaster can not happen again.
Auction for [ACO] territory begins
This last few weeks, serious debates have taken place between the bigger factions and [ACO] regarding the acquisition of Andromedas former territories. The biggest claims were made by [NGE] and [WIG], but CredSec, [ORCA] and [USNE] did claim away as well. Though the decisions are far from made, We do have an idea of how the sectors map could look in the up coming future.
Pirates of the Medellìn
Following the latest skirmishes and the joined ambition in the south, the Black Skull Fleet, had the opportunity to expand. An oportunity they certainly used. A new system has been claimed by the Fleet.
The system is called Acapulco and was previously loosly claimed by the Shiguen Empire. It does not hold that much of worth to them, which is probably why they left the area, for now. Nevertheless, this puts the much needed traders and support ships at a new dimension of risk.
Joined SDF Depot production
Following the close cooperation between [SHIF] and [USNE] full production has begun on a new type of heavy cruiser, codenamed Hammerhead. It is both agile and hard to hit, as well as reasonably armored and well armed. It is because of the hugely successfull role the heavy cruisers have played in the ongoing battles against [CSM] forces.
