[CredSec] leading on
CredSec officials announced a large operation last week, code-named “Africa”. A group of engineers and scientists are currently working on a long range colony ship named “Ark II”. Goal of the undertaking is reaching the craddle of humanity, Sol. CredSec officials argue, that humanity in the sector is on the verge of developing new means of traveling including intergalactic jumping. Maybe not in the close future but it is on the horizon. Therefore they will build the ships that are going to travel home. The tech is not completely there, but we will be ready when the time has come.
Rheinland news leak
After some leaked power-consumption-charts probably related to a secret prototype project, there has been another leak. This one gives us the name of the project: “Berlin”. This is all we got for now, but it is enough to speculate. Berlin was the capital of old germany, so the project might relate to some means of colonising or maybe some sort of new powergrid tech. Anyway, our investigative journalists will keep digging for you.
Law anew
A recently formed taskforce made up of officials from every large faction of the sector, is about to revise the current sector wide law. They deem the refactor and streamlining of a Splash Nebula Sector law long overdue. As of now each faction and sometimes even subfaction have their own law and rules. This is going to change in the future. It is just through a common threat in the south, that we finally come together and begin to see us as one.
Library update
The official SecNet library is going to get a huge update, throughout the sector. CredSec datarunners are contracted for the execution. This in turn means that in the upcoming weeks and months, the library will probably have some issues over the course of the updating process. It is possible, that due to the operation some entries will be temporarely lost or changed while updating.
Coffee to go
Phillosopher and entrepreneur extraordinaire, Monsieur Fabio Relanquee, has argued, if coffee as we understand it, is even real. He says in science if something cannot be recreated it is not prooven to exist in the first place. He says all the fuzz made around the ancient traditional beverage would be corporate strategy, to further boost their numbers. He suggests it would be wise of the consumer, the common folk to let go of coffee and find out for themselfes, what really is worth drinking. Funny how close these statements come after he opened his first Foyg-Shop, where he sells the hot beverage made from a the Foygar-Tree-roots, in a variety of different ways.
Strange structures on Kariaki
A recent planetary survey on Kariaki in the Kobiyashis system resulted in a stunning find. Non-natural structures hidden deep within the ice of the planet, partly reaching down to the lower layers of the planets crust, that reactively glow in a faint blue manner. Scientist from all over Shiguen territory, as well as colonisation troops,
were fast to react, probably to prevent another Eden-incident. AS of now the planet is claimed and under scientific and military directive of the Shiguen Empire, which declared the area an active threat assesment zone in which non [SHIF] forces are not allowed, until proven secure.

Some of our sources state, that in the run for greatness during the upcoming ECB`s, Arasaka might be having alittle too much influence on the development of things. Since we have no further data to support the claims, we tend to believe it to be hostile propaganda. And yet a calm voice in the back of our heads seems to recall a certain incident, some 17 years ago… It would not be the first time Arasaka tried to bend the rules would it?
East expansion stuck
While busy in the SDF Alliance ambition, Shiguen came to a full halt in their north-east expansion. Though the leaders keep silent, it is obvious, that they found some sort of natural barrier, a void to big to cross or the likes. While this is bad news for explorers, it is now, that [SHIF] has the time and the means to fully focus on the SDF and the infrastructure of their territories within the closer Cerberus Void.

We have gotten millions of messages about news on Ingunn, but are sorry to announce that even though we thoroughly tried were not able to get any new intel other then CredSec promising to lift the quarantine when it would be absolutely safe again.Â

Official headhunt

He is a respectable man with little offensive capabilities at the moment, which is why we urge you to stand down, and ignore such filthy offers of BCr1.0… Who is to say that the Wilkinson-Group can really pay? Regardless of being one of the most successfull corporations of the Wilson Group.

Following almost a year of silence from one of the greatest spaceship yards in the sector, Rheinland announced a huge reveal in the upcoming weeks. There is no official statement but speculations are, they have been working on some new cloaking tech for CredSec. At least thats what some leaked power consumption charts suggest.
SDF stagnating
Albeit the massive undertaking, that is the SDF Alliance, the front is, at best, stagnant for the time being. We know, it needs time to really make a difference, but people see the vast sums it takes to keep the SDF alliance going. Luckily CredSec announced to drastically reduce the costs for credits for the SDF alliance. Once more CredSec shows that indeed the sector security is at the heart of their ambition.
Meet the SDF elite
We are proud to present the elite force of the SDF, Battlegroup 17 and 18. These are composed of mainly smaller capital ships, the biggest being support cruisers. They are the absolute best of both factions, [USNE] and [SHIF]. They are found everywhere, where there is a hard battle to be fought. We are honored to announce, that we will be able to have a small chat with both commanders of the battle groups, Cmnd. Edward Slyth and Cmnd. Mikasa Sashimakue, in the upcoming weeks.
Dead Space
Scientists from a joined operations task force of [SHIF] and [USNE], declared the zone numbered 1613 as well as 1712 dead space. Or rather negative space. This is theorised by the group after dozens of craft went missing, while attempting to cross said area within the sector. The anomalies causing the vanishings, were far to unknown and far to risky to let people freely travel in the area. Thus these to theoretical zones were declared quarantine-zones by the SDF Alliance.
Hold your monkeys
A subspecies with some similarities to the monkeys of old, are rapidly spreading in different biomes around the sector outing themselfes as extremely harmfull invasive species. They are known as “Klaffen” on their homeworld Jisay. They resemble small furred animals, bipedal and almost 20 cm big. they have sharp teeth, glaced with a potent toxic fluid. They are now being placed on a list of illegal creatures to be traded outside of Jisay. Any and all sightings must be relayed to your nearest CredSec authority or local police force. A fair warning to the Jisay population as well, do not engage them without professionals at your disposal.
Andromeda Collectively leaves
After years of struggling, as it seems, the [ACO] officials declared a complete division of their territories and assets in the upcoming few months and years. The holy catholic church will establish holds in the affiliated factions to function as advisors and ministers. They will only hold on to their claim to a few systems in which their core will seclude to prey and let the spirit wander.
