I believe it is indeed so abnormal, that for once scientists from different major factions come together to find out, what in the fuck is going on here. We should
at least know if its dangerous right?
Dr. Rhoffin from [DSX] told me a great deal of things they do not know about that thing, and that they are kind of stuck in looking into the matter (pun intended) and would
amass resources to dive into the next big thing possibly. What a time to be alive.

While the "Collective Systems of Magellan" amass their forces inside the conflict zones, near the border to [SHIF] territory
a hit on the kings parade of "Crito" has been dealt. System wide state of emergency has been declared...
Reports from [SHIF]/[CSM] borders state, there is a massive amount of ship trafick near the front on [CSM] side. The Collective Systems of Magellan military might just be one step away from the biggest military offensive inside the Sector, which would have the potential to utterly destabilze the Splash Nebulas barely peaceful politics. Experts and activists alike, on both sides, citique the harsh and aggressive military actions on their govnerments orders. One can really grasp the peoples yearning for peace. But the fighting continues and as of the hour a massive next step in the war escalation will probably be taken. There are entire scrapers full of arbitrators trying to mediate the conflict to a point where there is at least a break to the ever growing bloodshed, but none of the side want to hear it. Shiguen and [CSM] are way to focused on trying to wipe the opponent from the Sector, to really hear the voices of reason and compassion. Not even for the sake of their own people who are suffering under the ever growing, dark, heavy shadow of war.
Another footnote to this situation which could become a big thing in the future is, that [USE] military representatives declared both, [SHIF] and [CSM] ships as “personae non grata” within the systems of the golden band, which will seriously impair their ability to trade sufficiently in the Sector. That in turn could, (and I think thats the reasoning behind that move) mean both factions can not keep up spending massive amounts of cash on the ongoing war.

Crito has been target to a massive terrorist attack on the King-Davos-Day parade, and military show. Terrorsits were able to use a security breach to gain access to the planetary defense canons and shot down 17 [SHIF]-Navy ships, two of these being battleships. The wreckage fell down into urban residential areas, but casualties were minimal since most of the inhabitants were, to that time, on the Davos-Plaza, as per Critonian law.
While the backers of these terrorists remain unknown, 6 of the 12 assilants have been caught and put into custody. The other 6 were killed in action. Investigation and interrogation is ongoing.
Records of the sceneries show one of the killed assilants being put away and an insignia was briefly visible.
The King and his family as well has higher ranking government officials remain in a save place for the time being, and the inhabitants of the hit residential area are being evacuated into near orbit stations or to other districts into the city. King Davos received imidiate praise, when he announced, he would personally visit the districts to get a picture of the destruction as soon as he`d be able to. He also stated he would move government Credits as well as a good portion of private funds towards the fast and unbureucratic rebuilding of the destroyed city assets. A Davos family fund has already been built, and a first few payments have been transfered to victims.

Our hearts and prayers go out to the families who lost their lives, homes and/or relatives, as well as to the service women and men who died while on duty on the destroyed ships.

Are we alone out here?
This question has not been discussed lately, since we found evidence of and actual life all over the human expansion-territories.
But, as you all should know, nothing that even remotely resembles actual intelligent live or cultures. We slowly accepted that, if there is intelligent life out there, it is either really frekin far out there, or long gone. Intelligent life seems to this day extremely sparse, and with sparse I of course mean the very exception. We accepted that until last month, a standard PlanTrack planetary scanning operation, revealed, what would seem to be some form of ancient ruins or structures built by someone, who must have at least in some form an understanding of advanced architectal technology. Domes and ziggurats reaching as high as 17 kliometers into the sky of Caphei. There seemingly natural colorpattern and some sort of light scattering surface hid them from scanners until now, and scientists of PlanTrack, (and others) are blown away.
Now hundreds of scientists, theocrats and gurus of all corners of Sector travel to Caphei to get a piece of the cake. And who can really blame them. Its the most exciting news for the lot of them since growing noodles became a thing. We await actual scientific data over thext few weeks and months.
Founder and CEO of PlanTrack, Dillan MacFreull, says they would welcome every knowledge seeker willing to help with the endeavour to find out what this is all about, but the operation is an official PlanTrack research mission and would fall entirely under their juristiction.

Amidst the chaos of war, the scientifc efforts of Shiguen continue to be one big focus of this faction. The system containing the small black hole Shinra C33 and its main-sequence companion-star C33, are also home to an extremely mineral and rare metal rich planet named Renraku Ceta. The biomass is surprisingly well fitted for human to live on it and it would be a major terraforming candidate without the black hole so dangerously close. Hoever Shiguen took a step forward and invented ways to retain a stable atmosphere during early terraforming. They are now reaching the 15 year mark which is an unofficial marker for prolonging success or not in a terraforming endeavour. And things are looking quite green, from what we can tell. Renraku Ceta might be a first planet in a black hole system that gets coquered by mankind.
All this happens albeit the massive efforts, Shiguen has to push, to keep [CSM] forces at bay.

The military and strategic advantages of this battle, regardless of the winning faction, is at best: insignificant. Neither faction holds enough ground in the surrounding areas to really get a grasp on the enemy after this fight.
