The troubled north expansion
As if [SHIF] had not enough to worry about at their southern border, while [CSM] is making big moves, assassins attacked the newest north expansion colony, or rather an orbital station above Liu Min. Luckily our sources indicate no high value target has been killed, though some of Shiguens exploration specialist might be the target, what would mean slower progress for the escape. We can not confirm if the assassination was executed by [CSM] forces, but it seems obvious after president Jung`s execution. Shiguen`s secret service operators are currently busy and bound down south and there are no major military forces in the north yet. We will update you as information becomes availabel.
[USNE] sends diplomats to Manila
While the pressure keeps growing in Shiguen territory, [USNE] decides to send back their diplomatic corpse, to talk about how they could help out their ally even more. Though they still avoid getting into open war with [CSM], they promised to step up their supporting game. [USNE] have been supporting the fight against the viscious pirates in the sector binding [SHIF] at a second front.
CredSec builds even more bases in the fringe belt
While the sector drowns in chaos, CredSec shows their potential and perfect ambition by building two new bases of influence in prominent systems of the [USNE]. Their latest project, guarded by their 5th and 6th strike fleet are Daphney and Polyeid. Both are extremely valuable in strategic matters, and [USNE] officials raised some protests again, which went unheard it seems. CredSec although omni-present, states all they are doing would provide help and stability for the people of the sector, where their respective faction fails to do so.
Is this the beginning of the end???
The Shiguen Federation had some dire times to endure, but it seems the [CSM] war machine is marching towards the finish line. A major push happened last month, bringing the war front even closer to the main [SHIF] system, Hua Doen. An extremely ambitious evacuation process has been initiated by Yunkosai Jung, now defacto empress of the Shiguen Federation. The empress not only sparked the evacuation but initiated the largest mobilization of Shiguen Forces ever. She stated, all that her warriors could do now, would be to buy time for their people. Meanwhile a delegation of [USNE] diplomats visits the empress to talk about how the [USNE] can help their ally. While [SHIF] is fighting desperately on many fronts, [CSM] build a deep space station in an empty system not far away from Hua Doen. There is no infrastructure there, but it goes to show how much in terms of material and ressources they have available.Â
While CredSec stabilizes, [USNE] turns up the heat...
[USNE] forces just pushed back into recentlyconqered [ORCA] territory, by bringing the battle back to Audrima. 202nd and 203rd strike fleet under fleet admiral Pricket, made a hard push on strategically important positions in the system weakening the barely fully developed [ORCA] infrastructure. Though they took some damage, the battle was an all around success for [USNE] forces and moral.
Digital Mind
Shiguen Federation intellectual and scholar, Professor Ito, claimed on a recent data-science conference, he would have achieved his long time research goal by completely transfering a human mind, the entirety of the concience, into a prototype quantum computer. He stated after initial identity problems, he even was able to load the probands concience into a mechanical body. The proband ran away at first being confused, but was found shortly after and has calmed down since.
Arasak just announced their military grade implant series for civilian use. The MGI series cosists of 3 major implants, codenamed: Tora, Washi and Kame. Commercial launch will be next month. Though a bit late, this will do good for the shares.
Mrs. Yamato, Sr. CEO of the rnd department reflexes and physical strength, stated, it was her teams greatest achievment yet and it will no doubt be worth the trouble in the coming times.
C 33 habitable after 37 years
Shiguen Federation terraforming tech reached a new heigth with the successfull terraforming of Renraku Ceta, a planet orbiting a smaller black hole in the C33 system. Though the system is in iminent danger from the [CSM] invasion, [SHIF] scientist celebrate this huge success. Against all odds, they made human life possible on an initially bad planet candidate.
[USNE] keeps their word
As announced, [USNE] MilTec pioneers have started working on another station outside the golden band. Just like the one in the Los Angeles system, Fort Lauderdale, the new one is built in completely empty space, almost 1,3 parsecs away from the western border of the golden band. The new system is named “New York”, and the Station will be called “Lagrange”, once its finished. It is officially an observation platform, and wikk be used to monitor pirate activity near the golden band.
What [ORCA] is truly capable of
[USNE] scientists and MilTec-agents have concluded the investigation on the Devon-Atmosphere-Killer attack. It released pictures of bodies, that once were proud members of the [USE] MilTec and [ORCA] military alike. The pain and agony those people must have felt is unbelievable. “We might get a little relieve knowing, that our work is being helpfull in showing who the enemy really is, and what he is willing to do…” Dr. S. Reign said on a closed press conference. The imagery is truelly horrific and might not be suited for sensitive audiences, but we decided to show you anyways. The horror our people had to endure will not be forgotten, nor forgiven.
President Jung has been assassinated
Following the celebrations and honorings of the Shiguen Federation operators, who saved Maja, a cowardly attack was launched against the president and his family. President Jung was spending holidays on Shiguen Prime after attending the celebration, when a group of terrorists stormed the presidential facility in the city and killed president Jung and his two sons. The presidents wife, Yunkosai survived, but was badly wounded, she stays at an unknown safehouse for the time being. A police response of never before seen magnitude brought down a terrorist base in the undercity beneath Atrium District, from where the attack was supposedly launched. Three terrorists were killed while two remain in custody being interrogated at this time. It seems, the attack was only one of many attacks, which were planned and partly executed by a network of [CSM] spies within the city premisses. The investigation is ongoing, and we will let you know more once information gets available.
