Eden Child Cult on the rise

A splinter group of the catholic church, some consider them among the most “conservative” in their community, found and claimed a new system south of Thora. It is called Precatio, which means prayer in some ancient language called latin. It is with some precaution that the allies of [ACO] congratulate since recently some acts of terror inside [NGE] and [USNE] territory was believed to be launched from a group called “New Eden” which reportedly belongs to the “Eden Child” devotees.

Görlitzer Dom completed

A mega joint project of the Holy Mother  Church and a significant following in the New Germania population, just finished the works on the Orbital mega temple church simply called “Görlitzer Dom” in Görlitz`s high orbit. Representatives state it would become a place of prayer and clarity. A place where the most devote can gain insight into the ways of the Lord Christ and his mother the holy Maria.

[SHIF] won`t go down without a fight

In a brillinat tactical coup specialist operators of the Shiguen federation achieved the impossible and freed the Ishinado system of the [CSM] invaders, giving the empire of old time for a breather. It is yet again the brave special forces of the federation that seem to level the odds.

[NGE] spreading their wings

[NGE] Forces invited to be stationed in a joint venture in Possum 134, to strengthen the fresh bond between New Germania and Andromeda Collective.

Both factions officials made clear their venture is that of partners and not anything other. They remain independent, but will try and create some safety in these uncertain times.

Seering in [USNE] hands

As [ORCA] struggled to seize power on the eastern front, [USNE] special forces invaded and conquered the Seering system. Most experts agree on that this system is a gate to the [ORCA] mainland, and probably a way, to make them concentrate on other things then the belt alone.

Fringe belt eastern front now [Orca] controlled

After the battles of Audrima and Eumedes, the systems Aryn and Vigil were taken by [ORCA] forces almost without any counterattack, since most of [USNE] forces were bound at said other systems. Though not strategically extremely significant, the sole controll of the eastern fringe belt may be a significant advantage in the long run.

The fringe war spirals completely out of control

The war in the fringe belt has been ongoing for years now, but it is these last two years, that the conflict completely became beyond controllable by any instance remaining objective in the sector (if there even is such a thing). The last few month saw a bloodshed unprecidented in scale and ignorance in human history. Billions died in battle or as civillian casualties. systems are being seized and retaken. Just recently the whole fringe region sector map needed a complete refactor since [ORCA] made some real progress in terms of territory in the eastern fringe area while [USNE] forces could make some ground in the northern-west areas.

Eumedes saved after all

After being invaded by the Zeta Legion, the 117th drop troop platoon carried out an extremely dangerous mission to save the system and its inhabitants from being tortured by Zeta`s. The 117th D.tr.-Platoon led by Major Corbree, was completely destroyed, but held long enough that firstly the system could be evacuated and finaly freed by 43th strike fleet of the [USNE] MilTec. This day will go down in [USE](!) history as the day on which the Lions Platoon finally had their last stand, though some argue the day has long passed. [USNE] officials confirmed the whole platoon will be awarded the medal of honor, posthum, for their valor in combat and their sacrifices they were ready to give without ever hesitating. These heroes, and their commander, major Nile Corbree will never be forgotten, for they gave their life so others may live on.

"Brügge" a name for hope

[SHIF] exploration specialists from nissin colonized a newly found system, home to a stellar black hole with bright accretion disk and opened a uranium mine on onw of the two planets of the system, of which the second is a gas giant. This sheds a spark of hope into the darkness of the recent events. The north expansion really seems to turn out a valid response to the ever growing [CSM] threat. However another mission was declared missing after leaving from Hikari into the Cerberus Void.

[WIG] now officially war-participant?

[NGE] counter espionage detected hidden assets in form of [WIG] spies inside their own territory, Bayern on the Germering station. The exact intent other then information gathering is not known at this point, but the suspect remain on hold being continually questioned  by [NGE] agents. Reports state, that some may have seen inquisitors of the Holy Mother Church on their way to the interrogation facility, which would be bad news for the hostile agents. This could be a favor made possible by the new [USNE] governour advisor, Father Ignatius Querel, who was just recently assigned to Lord Fergus of Panem.

CredSec means business

After spending huge sums for building a sizeable fleet and reforming the business to be more focussed on security and stability in the sector, [CSEC] established bases of influences in some critical hotspots of the sectors geo-political stage. In [ORCA] territory they found a place in Megon in [USNE] territory they built a base in Sol Secundus. They also claimed a just recently detected system which they named “Fracture” and made it their new home-system. This rapid increase in military assets has mainly been made possible by the technologically advanced “Rheinland Werften” which were the main contractors for the CredSec fleet ambitions.

An un/holy bond

Albeit the ongoing war and the unfortunate actings of [WIG] officials  in the fringe war, there is room for some happiness. Lord Ian O`Calleigh of Ragnhil married his recent beloved Maria Herion, a sister of the blessed ones covenant of the catholic church. What some deem sinfull and unorthodox, we think is a pretty powerfull statement against hate, war and violence in these dire times.

Audrima lost

After the 3rd capital of [ORCA] was inserted into the Audrima system, 123th and 124th strike-fleet rounded up and cornerd the last remaining [USNE] assets, which were caught by surprise and did not stand a chance against the ruthless attacker. The violence of this series of battle stunned even the higher ranking officials of [USNE] drop unit platoons, which held a collective, military service, to honor the fallen and lost men and women.

Eumedes now home to Zeta Legion

After taking Audrima as mentioned before, the notorious Zeta Legion, known for their countless war crimes in and outside [ORCA] territory, laid waste to the Eumedes system. The horrific violence used by their members was unimaginable survivors have been quoted. But this was only the tip of the iceberg, since the leader of this pack, Christian-Lorenzo Roncajo, or “Asesino de almas”, publicly declared his plans to end all [USNE] bloodlines, by laying his own in the enemies womb. A threat that did not fail to impress and made the last survivors flee in horror. The new base of the Zetas is reportedly Skald.

[USNE] to defend [ACO] territory

While their own assets were under heavy fire, specialized [USNE] forces moved into Ordeno, to “help guard the shared border against [WIG] terror-cells.”

These assetsare part of the drop-troops specialized in ship to ship combat and enter maneuvres.

Maja is gone . . .

It seems [CSM] technology has finally caught up, at least in terms of size. The many chaotic reports from Maja, have one thing in common, a titan of a warship slow but seemingly inpenetrable and heavily armed. [SHIF] operators that survived called it the Bengal class dreadnought. This obviously is bad news for the whole of Shiguen Federation space, but also for the rest of the sector. A recent political debate between [ORCA] and [USNE] exec`s showed them both expressing concerns about what will come if the Shiguen Federation will fall. Also both promised ongoing support in the [CSM] conflict. Think about this way, the greatest enemies currently in the sector both agreed that one should start to worry about the [CSM] situation…
