Sol Secundae

Amidst the golden band, [USE] exploration found the one planet in the sector, at least until now, which completely mirrors earth in elemental composition and atmosphere. Trinity Ascension

What you see here is a conceptual prototype of Trinity`s "Ascension" technology. A massive interplanetary device, which is going to open up the universe to humanity, by allowing (in theory) preplotted hyperjumps over vast distances. Meaning intergalactic distances. "Kratos"

The "Kratos" Battle Mech, called god of war, is a massive armored weapon platform piloted, by one main pilot and a technical crew of three. It was first introduced by the [USE] MilTec in 3850, on Junosis, while the then raging war against the [ASU].

Observatory

The biggest dreamers, most daring adventurers known to mankind, are surely the brave crews of Observatory`s exploration vessels. One of the last exploratory institutions to maintain an actual human operated fleet of ships, that delve deeper into space at every given moment.

The great north expansion

In 3814, seven years after the initial invasion of the first wave of [CSM] assets, Tohuji Jung, Father of the latest president Jung, announced the greatest exploration effort since arriving in the Sector. The "great north expansion".

Oli-Monarchy

It was King Leuve Aru Ghierro of Polis, the then leader of Polis, both planet and system, who in in 3876 declared the whole of the [ASU] an oli-monarchy, meaning a group of kings and queens which loosely act as one group of leaders, for the entirety of the [ASU] territory.

D-Day - ECB Finals

Every year on June 6, a big, bloody event takes place in Kabuki Stadium, where runners from every part of the Sec partake to proove their worth on the battlefield, and of course win the Cr1.000.000 along the way. It is the finals of the Edge-Crewz-Brawl semi-sport.

Blade dancer

In the 60`s a new form of close quarter combat came up, developed by a group of weapon smiths and martial arts experts. It was called the art of blade dancing, a both elegant and deadly form of fighting an enemy close up and personal. Another even more morbid art tradition developed directly from this and is called "corpse grinding".

This is the one day in the whole year, where wars stop, masses go silent, and even the most evil spirits cease to scheme. On this one day, it shows that we all, indeed come from earth. We all celebrate christmas, regardless where you are in the Sec.

Riad

The medium missile frigatte, "Riad", builds the defacto backbone, of the [CSM] space force. Though cheap and partly old in design it is one of the most reliable ships in the [CSM] arsenal. It has a low running cost, and is usable for a variety of roles in and out of combat. It is the pinnacle of mass-efficiency.

A machiene god

This cult, the children of Echo, are as old as the sector itself. they are popping up here and there, trying to influence the actions of others but never in a aggressive or intrusive kind of way. They keep talking of a god-like entity, half flesh half machiene.

The golden band run

Every five years, the pinnacle of every race in the sector culmulates in the grand spectacular of "the run". Selnheimer not just is three times winner of the run, but also invented and perfected the 2for1 swing. A specialized swing by maneuvre.

In/Out

The existence of a phenomenon, called a white hole has been a theory since ancient earth times, but has yet to be confirmed true. It is, as many scientist wish, the next step in human space travel.

This is the seat of "power" of the Wilson Group, ORCA`s most valued partner. What they lack in advanced technology, they make up in 100s of years of experience in espionage, sabotage and covert operations.

Görlitz Cathedral

This huge station formed under the observation of the catholic church is home to hundred of thousands of christian radicals in New Germania. It is a hub to prayer and welcomes all religions under the roof of the one true lord and saviour.

Maximum Security

Though MaxSec is a new category on the LawLevel Index (LLI), the outgoing transmissions from these systems, do a pretty good job, managing expectations. CredSec officials state these new rulesets will be enforced, by their newly formed security force, to create a more stable sector.

The Shiguen Federation military is built on the dream of old, traditions that lead back to the early civilized era`s of earth, when Japanese warriors lived by an ancient code of honor and sacrifice. Today, these warriors are revived by the fine operators of the Shiguen Federation.

It is the [USE], that first found a planet in the sector that could be the smaller twin of the earth, as far as we know. Old data tells us its atmosphere composition is frightening similar to the one once found on earth...

Cerberus/Hades

Many of the official religious leaders fear the void and the cloud beyond. Their argument being, that these do not possess their respective names with out reason, standing for the guardian and lord of the underworld, the realm of the dead.

Umimura

In an unimaginable act of logistical and structural work, within only 2 years, Umimura, on Jisay became a sprawling hive of a megacity. Granted it has not much of the beauty of its former brother Kabuki. But it shows charakter. The same stoic buzzing energy fills the air. The recent start of the ECB-qualifying overshadows much of its blistering problems, crimerates rising, dirt and tosic waste, overpopulation, though the city is growing at an incredible pace.

Deathcults of CSM

Throughout these last years of war within the sector, no conflict has been as bloody and violent as the invasion of [CSM] forces. Albeit the intense combat and volatile battles, the real horror came with [CSM] practising their sick rituals on conquered worlds and stations. They seem to believe in some twisted demonic pantheon whith rather wicked entities.

The Heart of the Void

This monster is one of supposedly a few more galactic nuclei, which form the centre of the large magellanic cloud galaxy, at which the splash nebula sector sits. It has the mass equivalent of about 7.25 million sol-masses, which makes it even more massive than the centre of the milky way, Sagittarius A*.

Pacifica

Scientists aregue over wether this is a name of a fruitfull partnership in the past or rahter a reference to a bloody chapter in a violent hancient history. Nevertheless it is the name of a bright future in united sector defenses and security ambitions. Even yet the shared knowledge shows great potential in future endeavors to save the borders of our beloved home.

Kommissariat der Neuen Germanischen Vereinigung

This is the newest wing of the growing [NGE] military apparatus, the "Kommissariat". It is basicaly the military police but with vastly expanded administrive powers. These are the elite of infantry, tech and navy that are attached to the standing army.

Journey

We travel through space at precisely 709 km per second. As a whole. As the sector. As a galaxy. When this journey will end no one can say and even the greatest minds, to this day, have no answers to how the universe really works. Is it finite? Is it infinite? We just do not know. But we know that we are finite. We must choose what to do with time that is given to us.

Our narrow slice

It has been theorised that there exist more then 25.3 billion different species in this sector alone. None of them (as far as we know) sentient or intelligent. Just imagine how vast the number of strange beings in our local group or the universe as a whole.

The Arasaka incident

Mr. Flatcher Sr. celebrated his 342nd birthday last moth.

Constellation

This huge vessel is called Constellation after the ancient colony-ships that once brought humanity here. It is the platform on which CredSec is currently building the Ark II-class colony vessel. It is about 1500 meters long and almost 350 meters in diameter. It can hold and transport up to 2500 colonists.
