23.04.3868, Thursday

Cpt. Bartosz Lubomir Zoldak, recruits a crew of [USE]-veterans and acquaintances. Together they get aboard of the free trader “Black Duty” and start their first adventure.
They start out with a transportation/cab-job from Thestyn. They travel through the Polyeid-System, escape a bunch of pirates, shoot at someones son and make some new friends at Thestyn Orbital III
26.04.3868, Sunday

The crew of the Black Duty chases some rogue airfilters for one of their new friends, Mammo De Frang, while investigating airfilter induced sicknesses aboard a freighter named “Gier”. While deeply involved, some of them also get in contact with this ominous condition and fake their way through the Thestyn Orbital III “Hope” hospital to seek answers and cures.
27.04.3868, Monday

The crew investigates the underbelly of Thestyn Orbital III. They search some cock-fight events in pursue of possible rebels related to the liquid iron they found in the dead crew of the “Gier”, which they know as proto-matter. They find clues suggesting a high-profile [ASU]-terrorist is involved, loose part of a bomb-squad and the girl in question in the process.
28.04.3868, Tuesday

In pursue of the clues leading to Dackin, the crew meets, once again, the “Krizzle-guys” who seem to be some corporate agents. The crew, temporarely, joins forces with them and follows Dackins footsteps to his location. They manage to locate him and Perssou detains him. In the end Perssou sems to know too much about the matter so the Krizzle-guys seem to execute him.
02.07.3889, Saturday

With Dackin detained and the clues to the liquid iron grown cold, the crew decides to carry out some other jobs in the area and travel to the Belland-System. There they meet the chief of a refuel station “Elim 8” Mr. Harris who fixes them the 300k deal for the corps retrieval. In the end, the crew attempts a jump back to Polyeid, but something goes horribly wrong. The Black Duty ends up in an orbit of a black hole in a new system. They misjumped, and lost 21 years in the process.
03.07.3889, Tuesday

The crew starts to explore the dark planet they landed on after escaping the black hole. They find a wreckage of an old [USE] capital explorer, the “Kennedy” below the wreck they find a huge tank full of the liquid iron in its inactive form. Dead crew from the Kennedy seem to be reanimated by some of the matter and try to reach the tank, which the crew of the Black Duty tries to stop. A fight starts, the crew wins. They detect, that the giant fungi network, which engulfs the planet also funktions as a defensive mechanism against the metal. Then yet another ship crashes on the planets surface. The [ORCA]Saren. The crew decides to help them out. Right around this time, the crew detects also a giant hangar beneath the planets survace holding strange unknown spaceships in various sizes. They also find a picture with humans in this place with a reference to one “Operation Midgard”.
15.08.3889, Tuesday

After 21 years finally back in civilized space, the crew finds, space has somewhat changed and things that were are not anymore. They recruit most of the “Saren`s” former crew to stick with them and get away from the war that rages between [ORCA] and [USE]. The make a deal with CredSec to buy a new ship. A proper exploration vessel, therefore they would`ve completely explore the Myslos System. After recruiting 2 more crewmembers, they start their mission for the CredSec.
27.08.3889, Sunday

The crew investigates a vast tram-network beneath the planets surface and investigates further finding even more references to the “Midgard-project”. They get disturbed though by a Falcon-Class cruiser of Shiguen Federation forces who claim the system. Outgunned and outnumbered the Bearded Dragon leaves the field reporting back to CredSec. They then decide to get away from the fringe war as far as possible and arrange a ship transfer aboard the [USE]-Alcatraz prison ship, where they arrange a team building lasertag game inside their travel-hangar. Macy Grey-Wilkinson has a brunch with cpt. Bartosz.
27.11.3889, Friday

While travelling the vast distance to Shiguen space, the crew gets to know each other better, and starts to care a bit more. Shopping ocures on different stops between jumps as well as a massive drunk/karaoke team building event, which was a bonding point for the crew. Grump gets some new clothes, and Dee buys parts for the ship. Also people warn Dean there is a dangerous group, called “the huntsmen” out there.
23.12.3889, Thursday

The crew now really starts their exploration ambition after retrofitting the Bearded Dragon. The first jumps went well, but they get stuck in Jumpspace apperently without a black hole this time. An EVA almost turned sour for Ferris at one point who almost looses his hand in the process. A kind of space anomaly made the jump exit weird, but Summers managed to save the injured. Ferris acted all weird once back aboard screaming the name “loki” and some things about him whispering to him. While under the influence of said anomaly the Bearded Dragon lost much of its fuels and recieved some hull/tank damage. After repairs done, the crew celebrates christmas. The repairs were bad though, so the tank exploded once again.
02.02.3890, Thursday

The crew repairs the Bearded Dragon and focuses on exploration again finding some systems containing gas giants and other planets. They take samples and detect that there are remains of ancient bone material in some of these planetary bodies. While exploring, the crew gets to know each other even more. friendships spark, and trust is built. Dee is trained by the whole crew. With great success. They then find a moon with a breathable atmosphere orbiting a gasgiant. they find elements on board a wreck in a river, which they need for a mission for one EcholonSig17. At the end, they are once again disturbed by a ship called the Hunsmen, ordering them to get on board, for yet another brunch.
February 2, 2014
The crew gets back to Shiguen Prime, after tricking the crew of the Hunsmen, and detaining them themselves. They interogate them find out about a “Isla de Muerta” station north of them and let the crew go. They land on the space port of Kabuki, capital city of Shiguen Prime. There they engage in extensive shopping as well as interaction with the rest of the crew. They sell their exploration data and ask EcholonSig17 to contact his sources about an “alien-battery” they found while exploring. An old friend of cpt. Bartosz lets him know that she is away at the war front, but will be back in two weeks.
15.03.3890, Sunday
The crew decides to settle in the [SHIF] territory by getting on the good side of the big corporations. Therefore they settle on two jobs for Misaki and Taito. The Misaki job went relatively smooth, though a tough fight ignited, which damaged some of the crew pretty heavily. The Taito-job went extremely smooth, though it scared all of the crew who were there. The soldiers and Dean and Bartosz tortured a bunch of scavangers to death to send a message to gangers, to not mess with Taito. They not only earned money, but also respect from the corp, for their extreme methods. They also recruited a friend of Dee as computer specialist, “Caspersky”.
20.03.3890, Friday

Parts of the crew went back to the flamingo, trying to confront “the Rott”. With a little help of some Militech muscles, they got our unharmed. Back on the ship, the cpt. looked for other jobs in Kabuki and decided to search for “internal data” for Connect. They found out that this job was basically the same as for Arasaka and took the offer from both factions. They defeated a giant humanoid cyber-psycho inside an old factory and thus completed both missions. Some real damage was taken by the crew. After that they killed a supposed [CSM] spy inofficially for the KPD. Following that, they partied hard in the Joy Lands District, while Dean had a real weird interaction with a seer.
10.04.3890, Tuesday

After some shopping, parts of the crew engaged in internal training, while preparing for their next mission for Arasaka. They are to make some Arasaka functionary disappear, to enable Mrs. Yamato to rise in ranks and clear the way to low tier tech from her department. The job went, after dedicated planning, smoothly and successful. Thereafter Dean spent a weak in an Arasaka medical facility while getting a new implant, and cpt Bartosz met his old friend Wakasugi Urakao and brought her on board for 2 weeks. They decided to stay in touch more in the future. After theat the crew went to do a job for Icapital, which soon proved more difficult than even initially anticipated. They have fallen now head first into a world of intrigue, espionage and danger…
13.04.3890, Friday

After Hijung got killed by a KPD drone, the crew decided to investigate the drone which serial number they got from the local security service. Turns out the drone was missing from the drone center above the KPD base, but a tech device covered that up. The crew deactivated that as well as 3 other devices, and found out the source of the drones were in a Nissin warehouse, where they found a dead netrunner and two of the drones, they had deactivated since. The hacker had a device implanted that turned out to be a Misaki F4T3 implant which they asked about their earlier contact, Roiji Hisami. He warned them, they would get into unsave territory with that, and they should drop the matter. Of course they did not and with the data from the device they found out their earlier suspect, that CredSec worker Hashinado were indeed the culprit. The found him, killed him and turned to the officials unveiling the vast operation goin on inside the ranks of the powerfull elites of Kabuki. The crew therefore had eliminated 1/3 of the spy-threat inside Shiguen Prime. 2 to go. When they went to a GenCell official about their findings, Jack gave them this contract again, the very same turned up with three black vans and soldiers in black to kidnap Dean and Bartosz…
30.04.3890, Monday

After being abducted by Jack Higadou and his soldiers, Dean and Bartosz went on a dark trip to the spaceport, as they would find out after ramming the door of a container repeatedly with a black van. Turns out the were brought aboard a tranport ship and flown into orbit of Shiguen Prime, where Jack came and explained, he was being contacted by Casper, and he in turn by Echolon Sig. Dean and Bartosz were found by USNE agents who were now after them. After reparking their ship on the planet, watching the finals of the ECB placing bets on who might win, as well as engaging in a intensive team combat training, the crew decided, it was time to leave the area for now, to loose the enemy forces. They wanted to begin exploring again. North and East was the consens, although they first want to visit Liu Min to sell off 8 tons of material they were being rewarded from a job for Arasaka. All sails are set for a new adventure in space.
11.05.3890, Friday

After reaching the Liu Min system in pursuit of the crews ambitious plans, they arive on Kikuman, a planet destined to be terraformed by Arasaka. Upon landing, the crew learned, that the colony had fallen victim to an unknown threat, although it was clear pretty quickly, that some hostile, alien organism was responsible for the death or worse of nearly all ground-crew personel. The crew did save some that hid in various spaces, and learned that a Taito container was likely the source of the organism. In the end they saved 20 people inclusing some high ranking terraforming scientists from Arasaka. The did at one point have to fight the organism, which resulted in major damage for Dean, who got brain tackled by some ugly ass motherfucker of a bug. They left and went on to Renraku, to secure the saved personal, and decide on how to move on in the matter.
18.05.3890, Friday

Following the events of “Crawl”, the crew decided to help out the north expansion yet once again, and attempt to free Tenshin B from the hostile organism. They went to Liu Min again and boarded the still docked megatransporter “Rio” through a service vent. They violently blasted everything out into the spoace which was on the ship in which Caspersky was hurt during the process. Room after room they cleared the “Rio” and even cleared the attached containers, until they finally reached the bridge, and decoupled the transporter and programmed a small autopilot subroutine, to elongate the time in which both Tenshin B and Rio would stay in stable orbit.
05.06.3890, Tuesday

As planned, the crew freed Tenshin B from the rest of the hostile infestation by spacing most of the organism on board. Following this cpt. Bartosz scanned the Liu Min cloud. Unexpectedly they found parts of a giant wreck in the belt containing a significant amount of Wyodian, which was needed for one of their jobs. They proceeded to deliver the ware to Trinity and learned, Trinity was in a theoretical phase of a highly advanced jump gate device, which the crew, with the Wyodian, made possible to progress into a prototype construction phase. After that they met with a few frineds in Kabuki to catch up, where their friend at Arasaka tells them they own the bearded Dragon now, as reward for their service at Kikuman and Tenshin B. While in Kabuki, Dean brought parts of the crew to a hospital, where he believed to have had a vision in the past. They found an old woman, “Ell”, or whats left of her in a hospital bed attached to variety of machines and medical devices. Dean agains seemed to have had a vision, not so much Bartosz. But both, they and Jack lost five days in the process. When diskussing the topic with the rest of the crew it came appearent, they might have been drugged for what ever reason.
11.09.3890, Sunday

Back on the “road”, the crew decided to really get into exploring, while, initially playing it as save as possible. They kept jumping back and forth to scan/jump/refuel/jump and repeat. In the time between their viscious exploration, they found themselves ever so often in meaningful conversations with each other. While some managed their suibstance abuse, others kept digging in the past of their mates. The crew albeit already behaving a bit like a family, grows more fond of each other more and more. With their last jump for THIS time, they finaly were rewarded with a magnificent system, dominated by a slow rotating black hole, with roughly the mass of 14 suns. The crew was amazed and terrified, but in the end cheered since they found a way further into the Cerberus Void. On the brink of becomming the most diverse (in terms of professions) crew to ever have existed, they both found their ticket into the Shiguen Federation halls of fame, if they so desire, and their first real exploration success. Now the Cerberus Void is next.
15.10.3890, Saturday

After the crew recoverd from the shocking findings of their last endeavor, they continued to jump, but they started to, more and more often, discovering actual stuff, and they really tuned down on the scanning side, which saved them some considerable time. While the crew was busy advancing their skills, and dealing with most everybody aboard between discoveries, the captain was hard at work, birthing names out for the newly detected heavenly bodies. Ferris and Dean found out they shared the same weird ass dream and Summers and Dee share the same incredibly stunning looks in evening dresses. The crew is still searching for the one planet, that they could consider worthy for a Bartoszian colony…
07.12.3890, Tuesday

After discovering an awfull lot in the void, the crew went out, to sell their knowledge to the Shiguen Federation officials. The crew had some birthdays to celebrate and they went out of their way to make each birthday memorable and special. The crew-bonding is ongoing. The crew did some final scanning to wrap up their initial research and exploration operation, and then returned to Hua Doen. Entering Shiguen Federation official territory, they recieved some messages from frineds and associates. Back on Shiguen Prime, they landed on a shipyard of the Nissin Corp, which was allowed by Jack. Together they celebrated Caspers birthday inside the city in a big escape room, where they got reasonably drunk, and the whole crew was loose and relaxed. Dean had his pants filled to the brim with small booze bottles, which most of the crew made good use of. After some time, they recieved word, that some Arasaka official would like to meet with them talking business. The Captain and Dean went to the Arasaka tower and met with Kabukisama Arasaka himself, and made the deal of their lifes (until now, that is). They are now officially citizen of the Shiguen Federation. In victory and fall.
09.01.3891, Saturday

With the new possibilieties at hand the crew of the bearded dragon firstly celebrated their achievement with Jack and then went on their way doing their first trading-haul with a big ass trading-ship. The whole operation made them billionaires for the first time ever, resulting in yet another celebration and eventually birthday parties and karaoke. The crew started talking about their dreams and wishes, what sort of future they think was waiting for them, and the captain and his janitor layed out the cards at hand talking about what they really want from now on, sort of. In an ironic “turn” of events, they were all confronted with a relic of a time long gone, in form of the Voyager 1.
19.02.3891, Thursday

While some conflict arises aboard the bearded dragon, the jumping and exploring goes on, all whilst searching for the perfect planet to start a colony. The joy is great when, oddly enough, the crew finaly finds such a planet, sets foot on it and starts a basic camp going while exploring the direct surroundings, finding some alien species, that seem mostly not dangerous. Trouble is not afar though since some of the crew head out to hunt for food and get to know the biosphere, accidents happen and they end up having to rush the captain into the medical facilities aboard since he triggered a plant based toxic reaction giving him wild visions of old bunker systems inside the jungle. Upon investigating, the crew actually finds remnants of an old spacecraft, named [NRA] Solotsev. Inside they find a cage secured with Wyodian-cells, that once held a person named “Loki Sanderstholm”.
07.03.3891, Wednesday

The crew investigates the wreckage of the “Solotsev” and finds a strange coating on the outer layers of the ship, which reveal a conventional built, manmade ship beneath. The crew decides to leave Jisai, for now and heads out to see what else is in the void. While Dean spirals downwards, with the crew slowly begining to worry about his trajectory, Dee and Kodiak seem to have cut relations for now. Upon finding yet another system containing more then a void should contain, they try to land on a planet failing exceptionally. As a result, the captain, Dean, Mingus and Ferris are grilled by hard radiation almost costing Dean`s life. After healing and getting well again, they follow a trace electric emission of off one of the planets moons finding an ancient facility only guarded by a artificial intelligence called “Odin”. He told them this station was built by men of the North-Rus Alliance, 25.3 billion years ago. Unfortunately the crew could not use the full potential of that discovery since a minor slip from Casper triggered a self-destruction-event, potentially laying waste to the whole of the system. The crew just made it out via jump drive, escaping a cataclysmic destruction of unknown magnitude.
23.3.3891, Friday
![]()
Upon reaching the destination they find a super arid planet. This one consists of a giant desert with only lush green around the northpole. The crew decided to land after spotting seemingly signs of intelligent live in the desert and investigated further. They find a group of foxlike intelligent, but technologically vastly inferior, that live in tents in the dunes. They spend some time with them and follow them through tunnels, deeper into the desert finding an old abandoned [USE]MilTec facility. They reactivate it initiating an ultra intense magnetic field damaging the bearded dragon significantly. Thanks to Deans barbette-shooting and Hollis flying, they escape that danger and leave the planet for the time being. They jump back into civilised space where a bunch of messages reach them, stirring the emotions aboard.
29.04.3891, Saturday

After jumping back to civilized space, some of the bearded dragon`s crew received messages from friends and, weirdly enough, family. Dean is contacted by his grandmother, who seemed very upset and nervous, while the cpt. got news from his mother after decades of no-contact, who said his step father were imprisoned in [ORCA] space for treason, after searching for news about the cpt. Casper is being searched by his father in Kabuki, Jack said and Summers got girl to girl news from Urakao. Casper detected some hiden signal from within the bearded dragon, which was identified as position and tracing data signal. The crew thinks it is from [ORCA]. The cpt, after landing in Kabuki, again traded and paid a huge sum to make some profit in the north. The crew spent time with Jack and Dean bought military grade PDG from ICap. The bearded dragon then jumped to Liu Min, where the cpt traded the goods, making good profit. While spending time in a bar, Kodiak was killed by an undercover assassination drone.
21.05.3891, Sunday

Kodiak was shot by an assassination dronw which then self-destroyed. The station was locked down imidiately, but the crew of the bearded dragon managed to slip away, to hunt down a fighter, that was trying to get away, probably containing the assassin, since it was established through Casper, that the drone was commanded from within the station. The fighter had no jump drive, so the crew assumed there would be a mothership waiting nearby which it did, an Alcanzar class corsair, which was commanded by Mateo Huerta, who was hired specifically to trasnport the fighter out of the system premisses. After Dean slaughtered the rest of the crew, Huerta was captured and negotiated with the captain. They agreed to let Huerta go, to ask about the details of the job and the people behind it. After this the crew tried to jump to Hua Doen and checked out an empty pocket of space on the way, discovering a large group of [CSM] forces gathering in the south area beneath Renraku. They escaped quickly and imidiately went to Shiguen Prime to tell the officials about their findings. Not only did they tell them about the planets they discovered and where the evacuation could lead, but in a personal audience with the young empress, they told about the [CSM] threat near Renraku. The empress asked for support in the upcomiong battle for the region under Renraku and the crew agreed. They also helped in making strategic decisions regarding troop movement, and ultimately led the empress to give up to systems in order to buy time for the evacuation operation.
01.07.3891, Thursday

After finding and eliminating the last residing [CSM] spy in Kabuki, which was planning to unleash an alien lifeform upon the city and its inhabitants, The crew boarded the stealth-warship, which was given to them for the upcoming battle and jumped into the empty pocket of space beneath the Renraku system, spending days and weeks, searching the area to finally find a hand full of fleets heavily armed in the system patroling an area where a station was being built, and a satellite was placed. The battle engaged and initially the [SHIF] forces where hit pretty bad, but retaliated quickly and turning the tide eventually. With the help of a late joining Jack Higadou, who brought with him three “aquired” old war ships of ex [USE] contents, the battle was won, though with some heavy losses on Shiguen side. Shiguen Forces were lead by the empress Jung herself, and were inspired by her speech at the beginning and the end of the battle. They were also geven hope, by the strong words of Dean, whom they knew as a decorated ex USE MilTec officer.
10.08.3891, Sunday

Following the battle in the empty system, the crew of the Nanoko decided to launch an extensive rescue operation to try and help as many Shiguen personell as possible. Thanks to the motivating words of Dean and the quick and thorough search they could rescue most of the floating personell, including some that had damaged beacons and would have died in the cold vacuum otherwise. They returned to the Hua Doen system after leaving the Voda Dragon, a tanker ship they gained after the battle at the Renraku system. In Hua Doen they first layed eyes on their new ship, that they ordered months ago. They then started their personel quest to find and eliminate Hangtorch, the man responible for Mingus`s husbands death. They tried to find the Isla de Muerta in the Medellin system after finding an uninhabited gas giant mine, that was raided multiple times by [USNE] raid parties as it seems. But they found a device, that lead them to the station where they finally met Huerta agin. They headed into the Cathedral to meet el Patron. As it turns out Deans grandmother was the one they were searching to recieve answers about who was behind the assassination of Kodiak, as well as ask for help about the Wilkinson / Hangtorch situation.
27.08.3891, Tuesday

After planning their raid, while dining with Dean`s grandmother Esther, the crew of the Bearded Dragon proceeded to wait for Urakao at the old gas giant mine. After two weeks of waiting and training for the things that lie ahead, Urakao jumped into the system and followed the crew to the Isla de Muerta station. The crew spent some time at the station with gathering information about the Kodiak incident and met “Cat” an ex hollow agent that deals in information nowadays, who could tell them who was behind the assassination. Apparently Gracy Mey Wilkinson ordered the hit though the killer remained unknown. Also Dean learned sopme more detail about the ongoing “hunt”, from a shifty fellow named Simon Myrklas. Following this, the raid on the Alcatraz began. Initially they wiggled their way in pretending to be an official prison transport, which worked very well. After that they proceeded to move throughout the ship unnoticed for the most part until they needed to breach a security barrier in order to use the elevator, which would directly onto the bridge. Once on the bridge, a heavy firefight erupted which the crew, mainly the soldiers, cleared with apparent ease. After a bunch of drones were shot down, Hangtorch remained, who was then shot and killed by Mingus. A prerecorded message then triggered from Gracy Mey Wilkinson, showing a message to the captain as well as the apparent execution of his step father. After murdering everyone but one on board the crew send one sergeant to look out for Wilkinson and tell the crew if he sees her. The crew also figured, that the prisoner aboard were used in gruesome experiments to recreate the soldier tech from [ORCA]. They proceeded to jump to Okinawa to leave the Alcatraz there and returned to Medellìn.
06.09.3891, thursday

After the fatefull raid on the Alcatraz, the crew returned to the Isla de Muerta. Some with good, some with bad news, but all alive and well. They recieved an automated letter from beyond the grave from Kodiak giving them all a proper farewell, after which the crew decides to let him go in dignity. They send for Mrs Yamato to cancel treatment and let him die. This is a new low for the crew, but it seems they mainly take away the positives here. The crew bonded and even planned ahead in helping the Cpt to look after his mother, as well as doing the deed for Kodiak and burrying him in his home turf. They hired a new astrogator named Demetrio, who calls himself goodie for no apparent reason, but he seems a nice enough guy to fit in the ranks of the crew. After stocking up, they left the asteroid of the black skull fleet for now jumping towards the north and west. Fringe belt. They came upon an old facility of the Shiguen Federation which they inspected only to find the strange metal again which they encountered ever so often in the weidest locations. A desperate fight with some kind of metal infused corpses broke out and the crew barely escaped the station before its core overloaded and made the station completely disappear. Following that the crew jumps to Eumedes, where they came out in the Carnage debree field, left overs of a giant fight of [USNE] naval and [ORCA] forces…
22.09.3891, Saturday

While navigating out of the debreefield, the crew of the bearded dragon recieves a hidden old USE MilTec signal from planet Skalden. They followed the signal and detected, what appeared to be a small outpost in the snowy mountains, called “campemento del leon”. They figured they did not have the numbers to investigate further and left. After that They made their way to Rawson, where they searched for the cpt`s mother who disappeared seemingly years ago. The cpt met his old friend and janitor Henry Giver the 3rd who helped them in looking for clues and Demetrio went to a secret bar to find out about the whereabouts of the cpt`s mom. He found out that Ms Wilkinson had a hideout until recently in which they found a video showing Macy seemingly drowning the mother. The crew concluded the footage was fake and to lure the cpt further into the net of lies and revenge of Ms Wilkinson. They return to Medellin in pursuit of some new leads and find it under heavy attack by [USNE] forces…
14.10.3891, Sunday
After finding the Isla de Muerta under heavy attack, the crew decides to intervene to the best of their ability and made their way aboard by stealthing visciously into the docking area. The soldiers then proceeded to use the sewers inside the rock to get to La Catedral where they met with el Patron to fight the [USNE] special forces group outside the cathedral. El Patron fought them using some sort of artifact resembling a dimly blueish glowing silvery cube with weird symbols etched all over. The attack was a great success and the cube was put away savely and the station was cleared of any remaining foes. Isla de Muerta then jumped into another system, to go into hiding. In the aftermath the crew finds, that Urakao might be in danger, since the message they followed went south with her, which could mean, Macy would be hunting her. The crew then, as well, started to make their way down south…
05.12.3891, Tuesday

After making their way down south, reaching Renraku, the crew splits within the huge class A spaceport on Omu. While Dean and Demetrio visit Jack, introduce Demetrio and learn about a new opportunity regarding coffee from Jack, Cpt. Zoldak reaches out to Jito Hatso, son to a higher ranking ICap officer. He was one of the soldiers, the crew of the (then) Nanoko, rescued from floating wreckages after the battle south of Renraku. As agreed Jito from now on works as part of the crew of the Bearded Dragon. All the while Dean and Demetrio search the city premisses for hidden symbols that would indicate some sort of black marget or secret society which could be used to aquire all sorts of information. And while they found three symbols possibly associated with such an organisation, the one they identified as hollows symbol seemed to dangerous to meddle with. The next day all were back on board and the Bearded Dragon went to the systems edge to meet the sister of Wakasugi Urakao aboard the patrol cruiser SFV Hokaido. There it turns out that actually Wakasugi was using the name and reputation of her sister to travel the system in hiding since she figured, she was going to probably be a target of Gracy at one point. She gave the Cpt. a contact deep in [WIG] territory, one of the Sentinel`s. Her name is Shirlee Donnaghan. Following that the crew sends the remaining ships to Moskau while travelling a slightly different route, to, once again, visciously ask Odin, the holographic VI on the hidden station at Su-Hoi, some questions about the genetics of coffee and the origins of mankind. The crew then decides it would be time to meet up with Trinity to (hopefully) witness the successfull test-run of the Jumpgate Tech, Trinitys been working on…
28.02.3892, Thursday

The crew witnessed the successfull test of the new “Jump-Gate” technology, Trinity has been working on for so long. They took the first look into another galaxy, which looked twisted and red and dangerous. while the experiment was going some of the crew as well as some of Trinities guys had major headaches and bloody noses. The reason being unknown, Demetrio and Summers both researched as good as they could to gain some insight. Dee had it worst, since she actually fell unconscious and had a heavy bleeding situation before Summers could resolve the medical emergency. After that the crew headed out for Jisay where they spent 2 month hiring new crew for the Dragons Twilight, their new ship. They then travelled to Rui, searching for Deans mate, Simon Myrklas, whom they found in one shabby bar, playing cards. he sold Dean some new hint to the hunt for Cr1.000 and the departed again after searching and finding yet another clue about Gracy who had rented a docking spot permanently on the Station. They installed a tracker on the ship and left the premisses. On the way to Pappoulio Summers told Dean about her dead husband. Also while jumping some murders happened on board in the crawlspaces while taking out some red bugs in the ships guts…
February 2, 2014

The crew investigated the murders aboard thoroughly. Some clues led them to believe Dee herself was the perpetrator, some pointed to the medic Tristan. In the end after different aproaches, they followed a lead to the cryochambers, where the body of Kodiak was stored. There they found, that in fact something used Kodiaks body or transformed from there to become a large creature seemingly made of growing vines of metal. They fought the creature inside the medical area and killed it of for good, almost loosing Dean and Ferris in the process. After that, the crew recovered a few days, only to find out that Jito, the newly boarded sensors officer had a comms obstruction device. After confronting him, we wiggled his way out of the situation only to attack Casper who made it possible to find him. Dean could save Casper, by ripping apart Jito, who died from his extensive wounds, and was stored in a save box. The captain thanked his crew for staying vigilant and working properly albeit all that was going on and sent everything they learned to Jack. Following the next jump, they found the white station, which seemingly jumped away the last time they found it. The crew decided to destroy the station, which lead to it becoming a small black hole. They proceeded to enter the Konardis system and with it the vast Yorkshire Debreefield. A CredSec patrol found them and tried escorting them out of the system, since it is under quarantine but since they worked for apollo/USNE, they could temporarely stay. Colonel J. Frankson was their contact on the Yorkshire II USNE Navy Depot. He was the one giving them information about the USNE Corinea.
05.05.3892, Sunday

After gaining some intel from their connection at the navy depot, the crew went and searched for the Corinea inside the Yorkshire field, following the route the Corinea took when she was in the system. At the end of the route, the crew found an old surveillance patrol or the like which they investigated but did not found any big clues about the corinea. They did however find out there are thousands of smaller entities within the debreefield, that send positional data towards the vessels. Following these positional data and recreating the point where the Corinea should now lay, they actually found the ship abandoned. The crew has been killed it seems and the freight stolen. Two experts from the depot travelled with the ship and are not found among the dead. The crew of the Dragons Twilight, went to the Apollos HQ in Clotine and told about what they found out. They could not reach an agreement with the mission giver, leaving the place empty handed. They then went to Iricoe, searching the “Moongate” on the moon of Dynassa, Sam. They landed on Gamgee and investigated the premises, finding the old ruined Gamgee, where the club “Gateway” is located. They entered and found a major luxury connect base containing 200 subjects. The crew accepted to get the facility for free while maintaining those subjects. They hired a team of doctors around chief medic Tamara Sotille, who in the next 10 years agreed to tend to the entertainers.
21.05.3892, Tuesday

After staffing out the new connect base with some medical personel, as well as building maintenace, the crew headed out to finally lay their frined and comrade Kodiak to rest. The travelled to the territory in which they believed Shirlee Donnaghan would be waiting for them. On the way they traded with a local medicine production company, Emerald Medical. They met the representative Syphonea Trent, who made them a good deal. They then searched and found Shirlee in an asteroid field. She traded with them as well. They spoke about the war and that they have a common enemy, before Shirlee went back to the front. They went to dublin and followed the tracks of war to a secret encampment of the rebels, the Sentinels. They found Kodiaks son, who was somewhat unphased, but agreed to hold a burrial ceremony, after which the crew left and started heading back.
01.07.3892, Sunday
After trading on their way south, the crew of the Twilight, was contacted by an old “friend” Memmo de Frang, who barely remembered them but invited them to his homestead on Polyeid. Also Grump received message from an old colleague of him his late spotter and co-sniper Erasmus Vaglebud about a secret mission he was trying to attempt and could need help. Meanwhile Dean founded the thinkers guild aboard with three significantly mentally damaged soldiers. The Twilight travelled further. The crew received message from a guy named Richard Pietrowic Damski, who claimed to have captured the Cpt`s nemesis, Gracy May Wilkinson. He would be waiting for them in Shiguen Empire territory. The crew made hold on a pleasure world on their way home where they found the ex-Saren crew selled on a slave market. They bought them and brought them home as promised years ago. With some loose ends knotted tight the crew made way hastily to get to Wilkinson.
12.08.3892, Saturday

On their long way back south, the crew, still delivering the rest of the Saren-crew, met with another Connect-contact named Lady Desire Ladroix. They found her in a club named “B(rick) Nill” and investigated opportunities about how they could sell illegal drugs on this planet, which they aquired ealier in their adventures… She told them about a guy named Peter Bronsko, harnor master and general old sutyfull guy, but also local drug kingpin and gangleader. The deal was made after the crew pledged that they would not further venture into drugdeals on his turf. The crew was invited to the laboratory to check their wares`quality. They succeeded and they were paid handsomely. Following that the Twilight travelled on while Casper had a huge breakthrough in his studies of the Nebulas history and physics. He discovered 2 locations, that might feature some exotic black-hole to white-hole taversing mechanic. He can not completely explain it, but it seems to be some consequence of him working on the database and map with Kodiak and Demetrio. A few jumps later, they reached Oribos, to bring home the last one of the old Saren crew. They were entered by a military commando from ORCA forces to search their vessel in the max sec zone of ORCA`s core world. The officer aboard was Mayor Tali Pakkiani. She did not find anything noteworthy and let the Twilight go in peace. So they could deliver Gomez, the last slave. So they turned down south to finally get home. Midjump, Kallopa, one of Deans thinkers had a massive brawl with another soldier, after this one pranked him, triggering a trauma from Kallopa`s past. Dean functioned as his advocate and dealt with the rest of the higher ranking soldiers, to choose a punishment. Kallopa had to spend some time in a oxigen deprived airlock, which was a harsh but fair punishment. The thinkers guild members all supported Kallopa as long as it lasted, even Smart who herself suffered from suffocation in her past. But they stuck together, overcoming this situation. Kallopa found forgivness after waiting on the side of Gregor Tullip, the “Brawling-partner” until he woke from his unconsciousness. Dean also had his way of punishment in the showers where he gave Kallopa a svere beating, not without getting kicked in the balls first. After spending some time with Grumps old contact the commander decided to try and let Urakao take the job, since he deemed it to hot for them in the actual situation. On the way to Renraku, Dean and the commander experienced a significant hallucination as it seems, with both sharing visions of temptation and revenge or lust. Dean had to see Summers almost naked while the commander had his mother present talking him into killing Wilkinson. They both awoke to, once again, screams from the void, as they experienced them months and years ago.
07.09.3892, Wednesday

The visions slowly subsided from both the commander and dean as they realized, that they both shared similar visions while being completely awake, and almost not drunk. Following a debate, what could`ve caused the vision the commander decided to check the whole crew for hallucinogens. There were a few who had mild dugs in their blood, but nothing serious enough to cause something like that. Also the Commander and Dean were completely clean and almost not drunk. Dean has Dr. Summers study about a way to combine his armor and body. Following the jump, they found a system which has no major planetary bodies, but a vast field of debree and asteroids. Some of the asteroids are larger then others and the Twilight landed on four of them exploring the premisses. on one they found a tiny area of oxygen, where there sould not be any. Turns out to be a colony of exotic alien fungus which is able to create oxygen and some warmth to survive in absolute zero coldness and oxygen free environment.Dr. Dr. Renard took samples and gave it the name “Aspergillus Spirare” which means breathing mold fungus. The crew talked about in which way this could be something to make money from. Before this however the commander ordere Renard to study the fungus more and Jerogiev if the Fungus has any hallucinogen attributes for humankind or any dangers at all. Reaching the Hashi system, the crew docked on a brandnew ICap base, where they encountered Jito`s father. The commander had a pretty rough talk with him about the unaliving of his son. He reacted calm but the commander felt his inner pain, causing the commander to begin a depressive episode of chilling and drinking in his commanders hammock. The thinkers guild spends some time on a shooting range training slug-guns. Finally making some way down south, another karaoke night was held, in which the crew had to sing about their comrades. The night was a huge success, especially after Dee announced, that she is 2 month pregnant…

While the commander discusses oportunities in science and business alike with Renard and Jerogiev, Dean thanks his Void-Mother for the well being of crew and ship. Everyone seems worried about what will happen with Dee and Casper, will they stay, will they leave the ship, the vrew? Some talks about this followed, but the shipwide consense is, the baby being the best thing that happened on the ship for quite some time, maybe ever. Some time later, the Twilight landed on Xiao Wu in the Shenzu system. Following some extenisve trading including a massive DGDGHL mining-platform, parts of the crew went to the big Genesis hotel in the newest habitat, to meet the PMC`s who claimed to have captured Gracy May Wilkinson. The investigation resulted in finding 15 bodies, all of which were suffocated. In the same time a gas attack was done, but the crew managed to escape the suite in which they were attacked.Dean managed to spot a woman near the hotels entrance acting very suspicious and fleeing the scene immediately. The crew got her in time and after a short struggle detained her. The local police, lead by detective Takoda Rushin, came to investigate but recognized the crews higher authority and asked how they could suppoert the crew. After this the female assassin which turned out to be a member of the Hollow-Brotherhood, was imprisoned and interrogated by both Dean and the Commander himself. Though she acted fully cooperative and not hostile, she was killed by the commander in front of the crew for her crimes. The commander held a speech to the crew, about aiming to create a just and worthy society with the crew as the starting point, in which people are save and righteous. The crew mostly seemed to feel a grim satisfaction about the killing of Clarice, the assassin. Also the thinkers guild started to work towards people calling Ferris chief instead of Dean. After a last bit of shopping by Dean, the Twilight started, once again, heading for the the Cerberus Void, in search of an actual home. While midjump Dean told Hollis about his nickname Snack Sparrow, which animated Hollis to significantly reduce his calory intake for now. Later the next day, Fennet turned up at Deans door telling him about how the commander almost did some thing violent to him after loosing his mind. Dean remembered this hallucination episode and he set thing right but motivated Fennet to talk with the commander as well, which he did on the spot and things cleared up between Fennet and the commander who are at the very least a good working team on the bridge. The following days The commander, Dean the officers and the thinkers guild decided to create an ECB worthy runner team, and the commander agreed to spare no expense to make it the winning team. The team will be named “Cardinal Sins”. After arriving on Jisay, they bought some rudimentary Hab-modules for starting a colony in a potential far away world. They also gathered a team of willing and skilled workers, that have what it takes to survive in an initial colony. They also contacted an old coch of the corporate runner team “Blend”, Mr. Weyr-Frigos. Following that the Twilight jumped to Lis. while in Jump The training of the 4 young soldier began starting with private Jarakum who underwent stress training in a dive simulation of a massive orbital bombardement. He suprisingly did not fail entirely thanks to Deans support who was pretty stressed himself. Reaching Lis, they visited the Trinity Modules talking to Dr. Chiara Jung who seemed overly “happy” to see them. She seemed to get pretty lonely while on duty. She sold the commander 0.05% of Trinity as was allowed by her supiriors. At this evening, Dean had a date with her after revealing to Mingus that he has never done the sex before. Mingus was stunned at first, but did his best to help dean to be calm and have a good time. Which he did.

Following Lis, the three military officers and Dean continue their training with the younglings. Dean has a serious talk to Grump who wants Dean to remember, that even he needs training. Dean suggests, that private Smart finds out about the trigger, or threshhold regarding her narcolepsy. In the same Jump the commander has a meeting with the Cardinal Sins, to explain his plans for the group and to remind them that they stand for more then just an ECB-group, but to represent the entirety of the very young Sprava Group. He wants Hollis, to formulate a sort of creed or codex for this group, based on dealing non-leathal damage, if possible, to enemy runners. The commander explains his ideology in such a convincing manner, that the soldiers and officers are inspired and salute the captain in a spontaneous showcase of respect. Dean respects in his own way. This felt like the founding of something bigger then the ECB-group. The next jumps are mainly about training, the scientists assignments and if Tullip wants to join the thinkers guild, which he does. Jerogiev told the commander albeit some hydrophile properties of the fungus, it would be not dangerous, or at least toxic for humans. After arriving in a new system which was named “Jelka”, The crew found an old, long lost and forgotten mine on one of the dead planets. It seemed it was abandoned hundreds of years ago. After a quick search and taking some stones with them to analyse, they explored the two asteroid belts. In one they scanned a weak echo of an electro magnetic signal. Following this signal, they found a wreck of an ancient North Rus Alliance ship named NRA Karkarov. Searching the wreckage, they came across a weird sensation. A perfect black sphere, hovering in the middle of a huge room filled with, what the crew knows as “Wyodian-batteries”, of which many were severly damaged. They tried to penetrate the black sphere with drones, which they eventually succeeded in, only to find out, that in the sphere seemed to be some form of space, that was similar to the one they saw during the Trinity-experiment. They also saw a dead person in an old Karkarov crew-suit floating in that space. The drone was lost when the sphere closed up after it went through the outer hull, the time it took was merely 5 minutes for the crew but almost 2 weeks for the drone. This suggested that the time was running differently in this part of the universe. The commander decided, to leave this system for now, but to leave a drone behind at the side of the Karkarov wreckage. Just before they jumped away, the commander noticed some form of pulse radiating from the sphere in all directions, which was barely visible and not noticed by any on board sensors whatsoever. In the next jump, Dean called Dee a pufferfish, which made her pretty mad, probably more so, that her hormones start to cause all sorts of problems. Ferris got wind of it and slapped Dean as punishment, trying to defend Dees honor or something like that. Albeit that Dean causes private Jarakume to make some real progress in his training. Following this Jump, the Twilight reached a system, which hosts 6 planets and giant asteroid field. The inner most planet lies in the optimal spot in the habitable zone of its star. It is a green jungle planet. The commander called Dean on the bridge, where they both for several minutes just watched in joy and hope, that their long search has come to an end. The commander send for the crew and held a speech and showed pictures and videos of the planet and introduced the planet as “Doma” which would mean Home in some long forgotten language. After first scans suggested the air was breathable, the Twilight began its descend through the thick, humid clouds, spanning this lush green marble.
12.01.3893, Wednesday

After touching down for the first time on the Doma, the crew immediately starts to break ground. They carve through lush ferns and trees to make space for the Twilight to land at a sea-bank. After they found the ground semi-stable, since it is satturated with water. They place the first habitat modules between the giant trees, that sit some hundred meters away from the sea`s fringe. The air is humid and filled with sweet odors, which are produced by a myriad of exotic and colorfull plants that seemingly span every sqare meter of the surface. A sound of thousands and thousands of animals, screeching, howling and buzzing fills the air. Dean leaves his visor open for the first few days, to try and find out how dangerous the air is for the others. He gets infected with a mild form of feverish illness, which is caused by what Jerogiev calls the newly found Cidre Rex Virus, CRV, a potentially dangerous virus with attacks the brain and the outermost mucosa. Deans constitution however stops the virus, before it could reach his brain, causing just mild symptoms. While the preparation of the colony ground continues, the commander explores the two moons of Doma, of which the first one he named “Kabuff”. This is where he ordered all utility and building tools stored, until the base has a better infrastructure, to support the usage of the big machines. The first two week continue with just one small incident, in which Tenshin Obiato gets attacked by some form of large snail, with extremely pointy and sharp needles at its belly. The species is later named “cochlea dentis venteri” by Renard, allthough the workers call them “Dissies”. After building a pallisade wall and securing the first habitat modules including the checkpoint, the Twilight leaves the 25 colonists on Doma tow venture out to get more tools and equipment for the colony, Roanoke. The Crew jumps to Brest. While in jump, the training of Jarakume continues with a standard runner-setting, which he completes without problems. Talking to Casper about becoming a father and learning how to live on Doma, Dean finds out that Casper was used in horrible experiments by his father, after Casper died in a laboratory-accidents 12 years ago. These experiments were his father trying to revive him and save him in the future. Casper, who at one point was sick of being experimented on, ran away stealing and destroying the scientific data that made it possible for him, to live again. This would be the cause why his father still was searching for him, as well as Misaki. Casper told the same thing to the commander, and they agreed to talk to Mr. Hisami a Misaki-contact of the crew. Next jump, Dean talked to grump about being stuck in his training routine, and if Grump would be able to help. Grump behaved very strangely, asking Dean if he would be willing to sacrifice all and everything to save the people he holds dear, which ended appruptly. Dean thought he was hallucinating and started talking to his mirror image in his room, which of course, did not answer. Reaching the Voda Dragon, The crew gets notified by Hisami again, who further explains his interest in Casper and tells them that Connect also is searching for him extensively. After the following jump, in Lis, the commander talks to Dr. Chiara Jung about the black sphere they found, which lead to her making a deal possible in which the Sprava Group gets to own 17.5% of the Trinity jump-tech RND (sub-)coorporation, worth almost 18 billion credits. Dean had his second “date” in a rather short time, which he enjoyed very much, but Dr. Jung seemingly was overexcited about the deal she struck. After the business was concluded the Twilight went to Moskau, into Jisay`s orbit. There the commander visited a Saigon base and sold the mining data they had available. After that he and Dean went to Hisami, who told them about why Connect is searching Casper, and what they, supposedly plan to do with the tech, hidden in Caspers head. It seems, Connect was initially founded by a team of scientists who were doing illegal cloning experiments and are still working in that direction. Hisami told the crew about giant bases with tanks, which would act as kind of storage area for “spare parts”. Human spare parts. He urges them to not get the tech in anyones hand, neither Connect, nor Misaki. Following that, the commander went on a shopping rampage to get materials and equipment to further support Roanoke.
21.01.3893, Friday

After spending some time on Jisay aquiring new crew and colonisation tools, as well as contacting EcholonSig14 (in this case) to pay him to begin a 6 month campaign of distracting the people hunting for Casper, the crew went to the secondary continent on Jisay to look into a wrecked spaceship, which would hold some sort of ancient artefact. This is done as qualifying operation in the ECBs. Reaching the wreckage, the crew stealthily took out some Arasaka guards and entered the wreck itself. Inside the walls seem to shift and doors seemed to vanish in the blink of an eye leading the party to a split and loosing themsefes in the process. Though on their own parts of the crew found the artifact next to a ruined drive-tech which they found out was a “skip-drive” or rather “rift-drive”. Upon leaving, some of them had the vision, that Ferris and Kaloppa would have undergone some serious changes in the past few hours…
02.03.3893, Friday
After the weird happenings within the wrecked NRA ship, a mysterious man offered to reverse the situation for the crew. The Commander and Mingus agreed to the offer, while Dean did not want to participate. After that strange episode, Kalli Weyr-Frigus, the ex-trainer of the “Blend” ECB team offered to work for the Cardinal Sins. He immideately started training and analysing the team and spending time with them. Most of the crew like and tend to respect his expertise on the matter. The commander struck a deal with Nissin to sell merchandise for him, and bought massive amounts of merchandise for the ECB`s as well.
In the upcoming jumps, Dean talked to a bunch of members aboard like Summers as well as the new computer tech lady Lizzy Chardonay. In another jump the Cardinal Sins work on their respective role or how to act like them. At last after another few jumps, the time has come to say farewell to Casper and Dee who are gonna stay on Doma for the time being. The celebration is very bitter-sweet, but mostly sweet.
07.04.3893, Sunday

The Crew left Doma, leaving behind Dee and Casper in their “soon to be” mansion and their now CFO Jack Higadou in orbit aboard his private line, the “Brave Star III”. After leaving the system, the Twilight does a few jumps in which the crew has time to interact again, after the whole recent situation cooled down a little. Dean got to know Lizzy and the Commander talked to Grump and Summers about Dean and Deans behaviour. The training continued in preparation for the upcoming ECB tournament. The Commander and the core crew are debating which kind of operation would be most efficient to do next as qualifying mission, since time is running short. Reaching the Lis-system, the crew found the Trinity command module had decended into the planets atmosphere and crashlanded somewhere on the surface. They decided to check out the main supporting base on Reachs surface, where they found out that it was abandoned, seemingly after the scientists went of to study the black sphere in the Jelka system. They found some weird pink-purple residue in one of the emptied lockers in a crew-barrack, accompanied by a strange light and form bending phenomenon which caused significant damage and discomfort in the parts of the crew who looked inside. The locker was dismantled and brought aboard, properly stored and hidden. After that they left for Moskau, which they eventually reached getting messaged by Kikuchi Yamato, their Arasaka contact. She offered them a qualifying job about some espionage that was going on in the recent past. The crew agreed and started to follow some clues and contacts. They ended up in the “Ditch” an Arasaka-Safe-House, obviously used for agents to rest or interrogation and some medical procedures. There they met “Auntie Juni”, the main operator of the Arasaka base. She helped them once they started to interrogate the (supposed) hostile agent named Gwen Shrider.
22.04.3893, Monday

The first round if interrogation was done and the crew went to a meeting with HPMC representative on Jisay, to discuss their involvement in the Connect incident. They found out, that HPMC was, as well flabergasted by the circumstances and supected a kind of assassination during the games. They exchanged infomation including a list of new personell in the HPMC`s ECB-group ranks. Turns out a familiar name came up, Mr. John Huerta of the Black Skull Fleet. With the newly claimed knowledge they returned to the Ditch after some quarrel with Arasakas weapons smith Mr Taidama. Meanwhile Lizzy found something about a Mrs McLeary that somehow was involved as well. The crew continued the interrogation in a cleverly maneuvered dive-session and could unravel some quite interesting and distrubing news. Turns out Ms Wilkinson could be the real enemy behind the incident. Shrider was broken during that interrogation and gave them everything she knew. They got a couple more clues and directions in which they could search. Taidama and Aunt Juni were asked to join the Sprava group, but no definitive answer was given. The crew decided to follow the clues and jumped towards Mako V, where a supposed Hollow-base was hidden. During the jump, Dean and Summers had a deep talk, while the Commander braced the newer personell aboard for the upcoming BotV. Lastly Summer got to the core-crew to celebrate the birth of Dee`s baby.
08.06.3893, Saturday

Following the last jump, the crew of the Twilight headed to Medellìn visiting, once more, the Isla de Muerta. There they met up with Deans grandmother, el Patron, to question her about the things they found out in regard to the upcoming ECB`s and John Huertas involvement. She could quickly shed some light onto the whole ordeal telling them, that she had tortured and interrogated Ms. Catherina “Cat” Holch, ex hollow and owner of “the Wet Dock” aboard the station. El Patron told them, Cat was behind some of the recent ECB incident, to cover for a plot against the members of the crew of the Twilight. After that was cleared up, she also told that Huerta was in the ECB-team of Hunter PMC, to look out for the cardinal sins, order issued by El Patron herself.
While catching up with the Patron, a message reached the Twilight from the Shiguen government about a very important undertaking, which was being discussed in secrecy in Renraku. The crew of the Twilight was invited to get there as well, as they are deemed a significant asset to the [SHIF] forces. Lastly, before leaving for Renraku, the Commander and Dean wanted to check, if El Patron would experience something similar as them, when they first looked inside their “cabinet”. Deans grandmother agreed and looked into it, which resulted in a severly fractured spine and some serious internal damages. The only way she could survive, was the imidiate care from Summers and Jerogiev, followed by El Patron getting in her suit and connect to the cables in her throne room. The crew left after checking thoroughly that Deans grandmother was okay and headed for Renraku right away.
Mid jump, the Commander held a speech to the whole crew, telling them how they are about to engage in active war once again, because the Empress called onto them. He felt a sense of duty and honor emitting from the lot of the crew, which was kind of what he got the first time around from Dr. Summers. Following this, the Commander had an actual serious talk with Dean where they told each other, once again, about their motivation, and how they see the upcoming operation as well the whole ordeal regarding Wilkinson. They once again remembered that they are actual friends, and that if it comes down to it, they`d have each others back. The next itteration of BotV – Battle of the Voice was being held in the jump and was a great success. After that they reached Renraku and were brought to a government facility on Omu, where they partook in a secret military meeting, where they were introduced to the “Operation Hydra”, an infiltration mission in the “Pupunooli-system way down south. Primary objectives were destroying a shipyard and securing an [CSM] artifact. The whole giant offensive in the south west was a large ruse to keep the main fleets away from Pupunooli. The Raid was made possible, by Urakao and her team, who got the necessary intel. After two weeks of planning, training and ship-outfitting, the small raid-party started onto their journey south.
Reaching the target-system, the battle emerged with the [SHIF] assets executing a clever swing-by maneuvre by the second star of the system, which gave them a quick headstart in to the system-centre. A few smaller skirmishes later, the actual battle started with heavy losses on both sides. Shiguen lost the Cruiser SFV Mako and almost lost the Cruiser SFV Aniki. However, necause of extremely smart tactics on Shiguens side and some luck, the [SHIF] forces succeeded and destroyed all [CSM] assets around Conis. Eventually the crew got to the Shipyard, which was their second responsibility after making sure the SFV Nanoko was docked to the enemy commandship “Pesta”. The crew fought their way through the shipyard and stationed five tactical nuklear devices on Fusion-cores around the facility to completely destroy it in the end. While infiltrating, the group was separated, leaving Grump on his own. The rest of the crew tried to quickly follow him, but all clues pointed to him being captured by [CSM] forces. The crew wittnessed a corvette-style ship supposedly taking him away from surface flying into orbit. The bombs were deployed and the crew quickly was gathered by the SFV Kabuki to try and follow the corvette, which turned out to be some sort of stealth ship, with minimal weapons, but reasonable cloaking capabilities. The chase was lost in the end, which led to the crew destroying the ship to prevent Grump from becoming a POW in the hands of [CSM] which was a much worse fate then death in their eyes. Following that tragedy of war, the crew of the Nanoko came about some difficulties aboard the Pesta, and Dean, Mingus and the Commander ran to help at least them only to find the Pesta in a nightmarish state of decay and pestillence and rott. In the centre, some sort of sacred hall, they found the artifact with Urakao and part of her team bound by it and a priest od some sort working on them. The priest turned out to be some sort of actual psychic – although hard to believe. The team managed to kill him before he could cause real damage, by using the cabinet with the strange residue in it against him, which worked better then expetced. They just so managed to get out after the artifact was beginning to awake. They steered the Pesta into the near star causing it to form a black hole in an instant. The battle was faught and won. But at high a price. A cruiser, the glorious SFV Mako was lost as well as over five thousand servicemen and -women. Urakao and her team are in a very bad state and Joshin “Ace” Grump lost his life.
30.07.3893, Tuesday

After leavin the Pupunooli-system the Commander headed straight to Urakao and stayed at her side within the medical unit of the ship aboard the SFV Nanoko. Loosing Grump did take a massive toll on the crew which showed in any interaction happening the following week. Buttons took the battle experience like a champ, much like Gretchen. Buttons agreed to learn how to handle a combat drone for future encounters. Entering Renraku, the SFV Kabuki was given a path and landing point by ICap, much like the last time they visited. Parts of the crew went to a meeting with very highranking government and scientist officers to recap the Hydra operation. A Professor Soy Gindama was obviously enraged, by them not “delivering” the Artifact. Regardless, the crew was invited to a special celebration day in honor of this operation and the one in the south-west. The commander went top a government press-officer and got greenlit to send a speech of himself after the speech of the Empress, of course. Back on board the Commander, Lizzy and Buttons planned and built a shrine for Grump with a holo-koy-pond in front of it, which he would have liked, since it is, most definetly, beautiful. Within the next jump, Fennet opened up a little bit about his past in front of Dean while they both were drinking to whomever… While visiting Tassi on the way to Jisay, they gathered some new material from the glowing bacteria. On the final jump to Moska, Gretchen told Dean she was born on Radeberg in the Sachsen-system. She told a bit about her home back there. Entering Moskau, the crew visited Urakao, who was brought to an orbital Arasaka hospital facility. She was feeling quite well, but not on top of things. She obviously thought she had failed horribly and lost some of her team. On the surface of Jisay, the crew met with the rest and started, by telling Ferris about the loss of Grump, and how Mingus was the one taking the shot. Ferris acted as a true friend comforting Mingus, understanding that it had to be done to spare Grump of a fate far worse then death. The younger folk who stayed back were sad as well, since they lost someone to look up to and a trusted comrade at that. After some time of grieving, Ferris gave a short report about their qualifying-job, namely to get rid of some cyber-psycho gang led by the notorious “Zenith”, with his two officers “Shark” and “Tiger”, both ex-Titan Spirit members. He told the Commander and Dean, how Jarakume did save Smart from massive damage top her face, while getting some of his own leading to a gnarly wound across his face. Smart had a new implant, dermal armor. The next week, leading up to the celebrations was training and more training to get ready for the ECB`s, which should start shortly. After getting the previously bought bikes, the day came to kick of a week long celebration leading up to the ECB-start. On this very day, all acting officers that partook in the operation Hydra received the honorary titel “Ju-Ichi-I”, which labeled them as officially part of the royal family. while not by blood, though bound by honor and tradition. Following that the crew partook in a week long celebration and Karaoke overload.
07.08.3893, Thursday

Two days, before the first ECB round starts, coach Kalli, Dean and the Commander decided to fill up Grumps “free” space within the Cardinal Sins with Dean as sniper, while the Commander would take Deans initial spot. The coach, was quite good with the idea after watching the Commander and his crew, seeing how they have a deep respect and understanding of how the Commander acts, and why. At least for the most part. Also, the Commander made an appointment with Mr. Greenger who recently won the golden Band race and was three time winner of the ECB`s with his Runner group of that time, “Wiccan”. After some other logistics, the first round of the ECB`s 3893 start. At the first match of the Cardinal Sins, they have to face the survivors from CSM-conquered territory, the “Ordinary Bloaters”. The arean is made to look like a postapocalyptic cityscape in which a nuclear winter must be faced, as well as mutant beasts beneath the highways. Sadly for the Ordinary Bloaters, they could not stand a chance against the force of the Cardinal Sins, who needed less that 10 seconds, to wipe out the entire enemy team. One died by accident, and three earlier in a nasty clash between a large mutant and the Bloaters. But the rest could be saved and survived. The cpt. of the Bloaters, Ceeleyna Hongbo, showed sportsmenship and bumped fists with the Commander and Dean after the match, while being transported out of the arena by medics. After the matches concluded, the Commander and Dean visited the dragon valley hospital to see her again and ask her to work for the Sprava Group after the ECB`s, which she will think about. Following this Dean went to a connect shop and officially signed up as a judge for the upcoming Miss Thot event. After that the Commander and Dean visited the bureau of Mr. Greenger and his secretary Sally Richmont. Greenger was contracted to become the face of a Sprava / Cardinal Sins marketing campaign, if he is allowed to travel with the crew to Doma and new worlds to get on another adventure and escape the bore of civilisation. Watching the next matches it becomes clear, that the Cardinal Sins next match is against the dangerous “Reich” runner group from New Germania.
12.08.3893, Tuesday

Following some internal investigation, about why the newly aquired personell, Mr. Greenger has a T.o.T. abrevation in his name, The Commander and Dean had a really lenghty, almost tideous and tiresome discussion about why Science officer Soy Gindama of the Shiguen Empire government would be a good or not so good candidate to lead an investigation and study of their “cupboard-artefact”. Both had some quite good points and the discussion ended (finally) when they agreed, they would need some more information about the guy to decide. They ordered some crewmates to investigate Gindama and ask around about him. Fransoid Renard and Tristan Jerogiev both shared their findings with the commander, about how their studies of the fungus, Aspergillus Spirare, could be of any worth in future endevours. The mentioned some core functionalities in which the newly found material could play a role: rebreather-systems, fuel enhancement applications, Asteroidstation or -ship coating for bio-hybrid bases and or habitats (!), space worthy incindiary ammunition, terraforming applications (!), deepspace exploration life-systems (!). The commander will consider their input on the matter in the future.
In the next few days, the investigations about Gindama brought some clues. He is an ambitious government scientist, that like to delve into greyzones of legality to achieve his goals. His late wife was captured by [CSM] forces on Sig, in the Cres-system. She was later retrieved, by a special commando of the Shiguen Empire, but had become insane by the time from torture and worse. She is to this day at an Arasaka facility in Jisays orbit, where she is being care for by Gindama and a bunch of Doctors. He worked for Arasaka first and Misaki second but ended up at GenCell after a couple of questionable experiments went south at his former employers.
Following these findings a young boy, at most 15-16 years old, named Danny Lei-Fu came to the Twilight, telling the Commander and Dean about a secret plan of ex-Red-Fangs to storm and capture the Twilight during their next ECB-match against the Devils Teetth (which are formed from ex-members of said gang). The crew began a plan to counter the incoming attack and went to a public relations agent named Kaidan Lugang of ICap. ICap being the arch-enemy of the Red-Fangs since a hefty Kabuki based incident between the factions, as well as informed the rival gang (from Kabuki) to when the Red Fangs HQ might be a bit unprepared for an incoming attack. Danny and his stoner friend Lamar were told to stay away from the Twilight during the attack to prevent being fuckin slaughtered.
While that is happening the crew also prepares for the upcoming ECB matc. Dean orders some fake “Red-Fangs” made from spare metal and the Commander orders some war machinery, or at least looks if the stuff is, at all available. After the shopping tour, the match of Reich vs Cardinal Sins starts in a game of weird geometrical forms and stairs throughout the arena. The Cardinal Sins fight their way through groups of alien creatures and psychic monstrosities, to finally face off against Reich.
In an intense shootout the Cardinal Sins managed to score victory over the enemy group and won fair and square. While Kallopa and Jarakume were badly injured, yet survived, two fighters of Reich died in the battle. Unexpectedly enough the Leader of Reich were very sportsman-like about it after all. Jarakume and Kallopa were send to the orbital hospital of Arasaka, since it is supposedly way better then the official ECB Dragons Valley Hospital.
03.09.3893, Monday

After the crew of the Twilight learned of the plans of Red Fangs elements to strike them while at the next ECB-match, they reached out to some of their former allies, as well as to some enemies of the Red Fangs to join forces against them. With ICap on board, Dean went to the second in command of the Ryoshy gang, Oneechan. She was very open about staying true to her word in maintaining a ceasefire with the Red Fangs, but told them if the Red Fangs started an attack on public ground, the Ryoshy would protect the public even against the Red Fangs.
Danny Lei Fu was engaged once more and ordered, do establish a network of informants as well as a street-information infrastructure, which he gladly agreed to, after being offered a respectable amount of money as a reward, with the chance of earning even more.
After that the Commander spent some time dealing with potential future business-partners, like Nissin and ICap, in regards and based on the findings of Dr. Renard and Dr. Jerogiev. Meanwhile Hollis is tasked to gather information and potentially acquire personell to further develop the ECB trading card game and its branches within the entertainment business. John Havels, M-Drive engineer aboard the Twilight was told to look into possibilities to work on developing M-Drrive tech in the Doma area. Havels said to buiöt the testing and development facilities on one of Doma`s moons. All the while Dean is getting the signature revolver made, he knew was once belonging to the Red Fangs leaders brother he killed.
Then the Commander asked the Leader of “Reich”, Konrad Rozenkwit, if they would consider to join the Sprava Group force, after the ECB tournament. Rozenkwit considers the offer. Following that, the Commander and Dean met up with Frank Licner, Team-Lead of the Hiatus ECB-team and struck a deal about the upcoming match. They agreed to have a barfight instead of the more traditional battle. ECB host Connect agreed on their terms, and the match started. The barfight was one of the most funny and entertaining shows the ECB tournament had to offer yet, and was widely well received. Though the Cardinal Sins won easily, Frank Licner was very gratefull, this deal was made to spare his team from loosing other participants. When offered a job after the ECB`s as well, all of the Hiatus group agreed eventually after recovering from the previous fights and battles.
The week after the recent round of ECB matches was spent partying and training as well as recovering, since the crew had no idea what would follow after the group-phase.
The day their next match started, they were picked up via shuttle and had to drink some kind of fluid for the way to the stadium. They got dizzy and fell asleep for quite some time. When the Cardinal Sins woke up, they found themseves in a large desert with no bearings, stripped of their armor and weaponry, with nothing but the one item, they could choose and an unspecific map of the area. The crew used their knowledge of survival situations to navigate the vast dunes and reached POI after POI choosing not to steal, not to kill unless needed, and made their way through the desert. They almost lost when they entered the “Tomb of Annihilation” and fell victim to one of the many traps inside. But they overcame that obstacle to engage the inhabitants of “Anubis` Rest” who tasked them with killing a large bear-like creature, the Tulik-Anh. With the equipment they gathered over the course of the match, they invaded the “Oasis of Amun Ra”, where the final fight against the Devils Teeth emerged. The spectacular shootout was won clearly, by the Cardinal Sins, which left Dean and the Commander barely alive, but victorious nonetheless.
12.09.3893, Wednesday

After their initial post-group-phase match, the crew of the Twilight headed out to do some business again. The Commander and Dean planned to built a permanent bureau and base of influence on Jisay in the city of Umimaru. They agreed on establishing an entertainment-facility (Barfight arena) as well as a serious bureau to receive and deal with business opportunities. Following that they checked on Urakao who was about to be finally released from the Arasaka hospital in Jisay`s orbit. She made a full recovery, but was saddened to hear about Grump dying in the operation Hydra. She said something along the lines “born a soldier die a soldier”, which somewhat resonnated with Dean. When asked again if she would like to join the Sprava group and work for Commander Zoldak, she said she would join, if she would keep doing what she is doing for the Shiguen Empire right now, since she feels her duty lies within the SDF conflict. But she told the Commander about a friend and colleague of her, Agent Satsuki Yokouichi, ex-operator of the Shiguen army intelligence service.
The Commander then proceeded to reach out to Logan Industries and Kendall Mining about their business requests and asked about specific offers.
He then asked about a ne credit at CredSec and was met by a new officer there, Mr. Kanji Sagantoru, who is an officer for more delicate clients. The credit was gladly granted and immediately confirmed. With the money Commander Zoldak bought enough technical material to drain the water from an area, six times the size of the colony on Doma.
After the following week, the Cardinal Sins went up against Creep Filet, a bunch of brutes who were defending a skyscraper of the ancient 1990s on earth.
Cardinal Sins won yet again after finding out, that the real threat were the Connect agants, that were specificly built to act as an environmental enemy in this theme.
The wekk ended with Dean finding out about some joined effort of Arasaka and Siden, as well as some partying and karaoke.
30.09.3893, Sunday

After some further business inquiries, even with El Patron, the Crew began to try and find out about the strength and weaknesses of their next enemy. While that is happenening, Dean and Lizzy found out, that the Sigil-Virsus has been roaming their ships computer for at least one year, making them nervous about what could have gone public about Doma and the location of Casper. They learned, that the Virsu send messages to a ship named “Penumbra”, which is likely a ship of the Hollow-group, which are the sworn enemies of the Commander.
The commander talked to Hollis and found out a bit more about his past and his, once, royal family. He now understands Hollis`wish to be a pilot somewhat better.
Hollis is tasked, to send a secret message to Doma, to warn them about potential threats due to this Sigil-virus.
Commander Zoldak and Dean meet up with Urakaos contact, Agent Satsuki Yokouichi, who turned out to be a somewhat misterious woman who agreed to work in a certain field of espionage and the likes for the Sprava Group in the upcoming future. She demanded some autonomy to do her job and requested a private bath on board. Other then that, she was very open for the proposal.
The Twilights scanners found out the “Century Untold” another hollow ship entered the system for unknown reasons. Danny was ordered to keep his eyes peeled and tell the crew of anything he learns on the streets.
After some more military shopping, the day of the next battle had come.
The match “Event Horizon” started with the crew finding themselves in an “abandoned” ship in holding cells, which they quickly escaped, only to find the ships power core failing and the ship itself being trapped in a black holes orbit. They fought their way through the ship repairing most of the damage, bringing the core back online and defeating any threats. Meanwhile they found out they were bound by clamps to yet another ship, the “Nautilus” which was held by the Twisted Monkeys.
They managed to fullfill any task and were very successfull until in the final push, pvt. Smart was killed.
Dean had a strange vision during that scene whichs content he kept to himself. Following that the commander went on to pass her soul onto the halls of his God father Odin, and prayed for her well being in the afterlife. Dean was somewhat happy or at least reliefed after the match.
The following days were spent grieving but also an invitation came in from Arasaka for a Diner with Kabukisama Arasaka and his warriors alike. This was one of the greatest honors the crew could witness.
07.10.3893, Sunday

Dean talked to Jarakume, to see how the death of Smart affects him. Jarakume was grieving, but also, in fact felt a strange sensation of pride and happiness for smart to die a proper warriors death. He then proceeded to build her a traditional shrine on board of the Twilight.
All the while the commander is tasking Ferris with training Guruba, to become a part of the core crew in the sense, that he might be able in the future to not only defend himself, but to partly take up tasks and work from the commander himself. He could not have given a better motivation for Guruba, who shows mad ambition in this case.
The day before their next match, the CS join the commander in the mess hall for officers, where he gives them a speech, on how he had a vision of them winning on the next day, regardless the outcome. The speech is well received, and the CS are blessed with a moral boost for the upcoming battle.
The next day, they get shuttled in the arena before the Empress herself who held a short speech and asked the contestors if they really wish to participate in the match. The answer was of course “yes” and they went on to the actual arena, which is a place called the reaches of Nihon. A typical old asian landscape with the ancient city Kyoto in the background.
CS proceeded down a mountain path, avoiding several dangers like cliffs and earthholes. They then met an older asian ladiy who owns a tea-bar of sorts. Her name is Yuu. They communicate with her briefly and then move on after learning of the four Ronin, that were ravaging the area. They wandered through high grass seas to almost clsah with a clan of short humanoids, called the “Shin Shans”, but avoided fighting them and moved on to a deserted carriage with 7 corpses in it. On the back some kind of religious treasre was hidden in a sealed stone chest. They took the jade marbles, and moved on to the village of Kobayashi Maru. On the way, they lost Jarakume but found his radio devise, once reaching Kobayashi Maru, as well as to frightened kids who claimed a band of four evil ronin had killed the entirety of the village including their parents. They told the CS they had an aunt living in Kyoto, which is why the CS took them with them to Kyoto.
Reaching the city, the CS found it in a state of celebrating the year of the dragon feast. And through assassins and attacks, the CS fought their way up to a huge temple, where they faced off against the ARK team. And although they did a good start, they were eventually beaten. At the moment of Deans probable death, he had another vision of his goddess claiming he would be not yet worthy to pass on. In the meantime, Kabukisama Arasaka revealed himself as the 4th warrior of ARK Devastator, helping the commander back up, as well telling him, that he and his crew are not yet ready to take them on.
18.11.3893, Wednesday

Following their match against the ECB team of Arasaka, the crew spent some time in the orbital hospital, to regenerate. While Dean is thinking quite a bit, the commander reads a lot of books and guides on business, as well as praying every day at the stadium for his fallen ones. Dean then asks the commander about the last match of the ECB`s for them and if he would be allowed to tell connect officials about his plans. The commander told Dean, that he trusts him and Dean would be allowed to act as he seems fit. Dean proceeds to pitch the idea of a “King of the Hill Battle” to the connect workers, which they very much approved of. The commanders swear Dean in with how they might have not won the ECB`s as a runner group, but the won as a crew and a corporation. Dean agrees.
After being released from the hospital, Dean has a audience with Tokohaima of Arasaka. While drinking tea together Dean asks about Siden and Arasaka working together. Tokohaima then tells him, in secret, that Arasaka is spying on Connect, since they suspect a deeper and more evil motivation behind Connect as a corporation. The tech Connect has readily available, has Arasaka worried about their motives.
Meanwhile, the commander has a meeting with Kabukisama Arasaka as well as Grand Admiral and Commander of the Shiguen Epire Navy East Defense Bataillons, Agoro Kaneda. The Commander tells them of theior experiences with “Artifacts” like the Pyramid, and his idea of it being some sort of psychic phenomenon. When talking about the Mind Piercers, Mr. Arasaka told him that albeit his supicions, these would use high frequency sounds, to cause extreme headaches and pain in their victims, as well as, in worse cases, massive internal hemorrages. They agree, that they will in the upcoming future, join forces to begin to do research in this field to maybe become able to fight theses phenomenons.
When the Commander tells Dean about this meeting, Dean is extremely relieved that not Soy Gindama is the one researching this but more trustworthy people. The Commander agrees. They continue to talk and the Commander tells Dean how he is certain, they will find the undiscovered as they usually do. They start planning whats next in the upcoming future, when the ECB`s are finally over.
Next they attended the King of the Hill Battle, which turned out to be slightly modified by Connect show designers. Many of the participants died in a red mist when they were hit by a wall of some kind of force field, similar to the ones used on larger ships to keep the vacuum of space outside the hangars. Albeit the match being a somewhat traumatic experience leaving Dean yet once again, devastated, they won and thus becam third in place of the ECB`s of `93.
The commander met with the Empress to ask about the upcomin future for the Shiguen Empire and his plans for Lis. She promised to help in the case they would need it. She also tasked the crew of the twilight with taking a look at the secured black box of the night slayer, to maybe learn what caused the 2 cruisers to be destroyed.
After that, the Commander communicated with one Mr. Kibaru of Connect about Jin and Kiumi Baotze, the children, they saved during their match against “Arasaka”, and makes a deal to buy out the contracts for these kids and have them delivered to the Twilight.
Later that week, the Commander found a completely drunk and wasted Dean in the officers mess and talked to him, about what went down in the last weeks. While Dean is “guilt-drinking”, the Commander tells Dean waht he and Sprava stand for in regards to why saving thoise children, at which point Dean almost looses it, but just so holds his composure. Dean asks the Commander “Are we still on course?” To which the Commander tells Dean of his plans to finally bring peace to the Sector. But he also tells him, that he is quite aware that it is unlikely, that, in their lifetime, they would be able to reap what they might sow. Dean is so drunk at that point, that the Commander orderes him to get to the medbay, where Dr. Summers talks to Dean as well asking him what is wrong to which Dean tries to avoid the question, but Summers insists. She asks if the things torturing Dean came back again to which he nods with tears in his eyes. She asked if she could help burry it but Dean fears it will only come back up again. Summers tries to help in saying if she could help to destroy it, when Dean says he already did that once. Unable to help Dean at the moment, she then proceeds to sedate him to let him sleep while regenerating.
After sometime in which the children are delivered, and Dean getting a long box, they say their goodbyes to Coach Kalli and leave the system to move in the gereral direction of Sol Secundae. While jumping, the training of Guruba continues and Dean seeks help and medication from Jerogiev.

Reaching the Haggris system, the Commander started trading at the Navy depot, earning a pretty penny and searching for ways to use the cargo space aboard for profit. Meanwhile Dean is walking through the docking and boarding area of the depot feeling right at home between marines and drop troops preparing for combat or returning from patrols. That was at some point Deam himself, but it seems to be a lifetime ago. He made stop at a licenced weapon trader run by Lt. Fred Quebec who knew Deans face and history (at least what is publicly known) and offered him to look at some items, not yet publicly available, which Dean bought some stuff off, before returning to the Twilight. The Crew then went on to jump to Sol Secundae, to check out the remaining clues in their Hunt for the Connect treasure. While in jump the Commander speaks with Dean once again bringing them onto the same page regarding the Hunt, and what must come next after visiting Sol Secundae. Also, Dean told the Commander about the stuff he bought, and the Commander was very much agreeing on the matter.
Up in Sol Secundae, the Commander commenced in trade once again buying different wares from the luxury goods category. While checking the wares, a Nissin crate with weird colour scheme was found, which contained Nissin/Sprava trading cards worth at least MCr50.0. Hidden within the crate was a tracking device which at every time pings the location of the crate. After hiding the tracker at some luggage within some tourist ship, they took the crate for themselves and went on to the Moon “Singularidad” within the system and checked on the radio-telescope-station “Event Horizon”. In the station they met a middle-aged tech-nerd named Todd Dinklebence who seems to be extremely afraid of women but also “helped” them resolve the next riddle of the Hunt, finding out the next place to visit (within the Hunt) was the black hole system Corrigan Ceta. Leaving the strange and socially awkward group of neckbeards, the crew went on to travel towards the north stopping in Eumedes to refuel. Within the next jump, the Commander asked Gretchen to start writing “propaganda” for him and the Sprava Group. She, feeling honoured, to be able to help with her intellectual skills, agreed. Meanwhile Dean and Yokouichi got to know each other while trying to slit their throats training blade combat. They both seem to share a somewhat warrioreske respect for each other. Also, Dean gifted the Kids Jin and Kiumi some toys to keep them entertained and cozy aboard. They had to promise him to not tell anybody he gave the toys to them. Reaching Polyeid, the Twilight went to Thestyn, a well inhabited and popular planet within the system. They landed in the giant Spaceport and went to dine in a restaurant called “Myslos II” a recreation of a restaurant previously located on the now destroyed Thestyn Orbital III. While eating there, people recognized their faces from the ECB`s and started to demand autographs, which Dean and the Commander gave willingly. Dean was approached by a man saluting in front of him telling him his name is Master Sergeant Phillipe Torrenz, an ex [USNE] MilTec marine, who was around on the Caphei incident in which Dean heavily partook. He told Dean, that it was the Lions Squads deeds, that gave him and his men the possibility to return mostly save and sound. From that disaster planet. And thanked Dean for that. Dean was a bit flabbergasted.
On the same day they met up with former Ally and Entrepreneur Mr. Mammo De Frang, now defacto leader of the city as steward I the name of the CredSec governmental apparatus, leading the trades and ways of the spaceport. The commander presented De Frang with a business opportunity while he and Dean were presented with drinks and girls willing to fulfil their every wishes. That was the proper way to talk business, since men were no more honest then with their cock in the mouth of a hottie, that was De Frang`s philosophy. While smoking and sharing each other’s stories, Mammo De Frang finally agreed to join forces in the eastern regions of [SHIF] space and work together with the Sprava Group.
06.01.3894, Wednesday

Starting out, the Commander continued increasing his broker-skills while trading viciously and ambitiously. Thereafter, he, with significant help from Officer Mingus aboard the Twilight, worked out contracts, regarding the “De Frang Deal”. It is an important timestamp for the crew of the Twilight as well as the rest of the Sprava company, since this could be the moment things really kicked off for them. To top things off, the Commander contacted an old “enemy”, from his times at the MilTec Navy, now Grand Fleet Admiral Gerhard Ridwink. The Commander congratulates his promotion and expresses his wishes for good working together in the upcoming future of the SDF Alliance.
Days later, Memmo De Frang headed out for Lis, to coordinate with his people regarding the establishments on Lis moons – A message was sent to Logan Industries, to inform them about the new partnership, which entered their previous made deal.
The Twilight then continued its journey north to get to the next stage in the Connect Hunt. In the coming jumps, the crew kept going their normal everyday life aboard, with Kallopa doing his pranks, and the Commander caring about the Baotze siblings. He has decided, to give them the best possible education aboard and lets Dr. Summers and IO Hollis take responsibility for the two. He also continues the trading to enhance traveling efficiency (finance-wise).
In Megon the crew had a great Christmas celebration where pretty epic gifts were exchanged. The crew had good food and drinks and spent the last days of the year jumping further north.
Reaching Corregan Ceta, a blackhole system, with otherwise little of interest for the Twilight, the new hunt clue-page activated, and an unknown Connect-vessel named “CSS Rubin Delilah” hailed and requested docking permission. The Commander granted permission, the ship docked and three Connect operators entered the ship all looking almost the same, other than different coloured clothing. They called themselves Ms. White, Ms. Grey and Ms. Black. After a short interaction and instruction regarding the upcoming task, the Connect operators transported two matt white metal crates aboard which were sealed and had only a small display on their either side. The crates were roughly three meters long, 1,80 meters deep and 1,10 meters high.
After that interaction, the Commander and Dean discussed if it would be worth traveling yet again way (WAY) south to follow the crumbs to eventually get to the end (to whatever means) of the hunt. They decided to at least to this task to get rid of the crates and the Twilight began its way south again. In the upcoming jumps, a particularly nasty prank was played on the Commander himself. The aftermath had the Commander pretend to stealth heavily aboard and hilarity ensued, when he was “interrogated” by Dr. Summers about what really went down while dealing with Memmo, and why so many aboard just whisper in awe about the “three-fungal-head”-situation.
Reaching the Cruxis-System, the Commander ordered extensive scanning and eventually found a hidden signal within the Cruxis Badlands debris field. After closer inspection, the crew stumbled over yet another black space station like the ones they encountered earlier, but significantly smaller. They entered the station to find it barren and without energy. They could establish an emergency power supply to talk to the stations board-VI. They learned a whole lot about the creatures building the stations and for what reason they persist in the sector. They also found out, that humanity in the sector seems just to be some form of alien science experiment, about the evolution and technological advances of humanity. It seems this alien race has deemed the experiment a failure in the end and is now in the process of “clearing” the aftermath, which would result in a remigration of a tiny part of the sectors population, as well as the eradication of the rest. This process would take another two and a half years to complete, and the only chance might be talking to the “Administration” a form of directive element of the experiment which would be only possible from the a communication post within the Heart of the Void system in the next year or so. They also learned, that the one they know as Loki, might be not completely dead but trapped in a dangerous kind of prison.
06.01.3894, Wednesday

The Twilight, after some scanning and careful piloting, left the Cruxis Badlands and, albeit the bad news, continued to travel further south. Once again, the Commander gathered the whole crew of the Twilight in the cargo bay holding a motivational speech about what they are going to face in the future. He tells them, that there is a significant chance the “world” as they know it will end in 2 ½ years, with the only obvious chance to survive would be to be remigrated by a super-advanced alien civilisation. But he promises them, that there will be nothing untried, no option unchecked to give the whole crew and the people of the sector a fighting chance. The crew is sworn in, grim and rebellious all at the same time, which stems from years spent in a caring and rewarding workspace with a quite able leadership and officer-team.
Knowing the dire situation and the supposed fate of the sector, Dean and the Commander started setting things in motion to reach in every direction to maybe get a grip on the situation. Dean started to spend 8 hours each day EVAing on the ships outer hull trying to contact the individual they know as Loki Sanderstholm. And while he believes to get some impressions or visions even about Loki`s past maybe, the information he gets is misty at best and not easy to interpret. While this is happening, the Commander begins a ritual, in which he starves and sleep-depraves himself to reach a trance like state to be able to communicate with his “spiritual father” – Odin. In the End he really thinks that he had reached his goal and talked to the godfather.
All the while in between jumps, the Commander continues to trade to gather wealth as a means stand before every challenge which is coming up. Dean is asking Ms. Seyterbacher for help, making his armour even more fancy. After that he has a significant drinking session with Fennet where he learns some details from his past and Fennet asks pretty unphased about Deans past and presence. While they get drunker and drunker, the Commander is having an intense training session with Jin and Yokouichi, after which she asks him for help training blade-skills going forward.
Thereafter, Dean and the Commander talk about their both experiences and Dean expresses his fear about maybe having to becoming a “Psycher” himself to stop, what is coming for them. He has the Commander ask his Godfather about help in this matter.
Later they arrive in Al-Shar, where they headed for the initially hidden station, named “Ray-Tracee II” within a vast ice-asteroid-field. They docked and met another Connect agent who looked exactly like the ones they met before in just slightly different clothing. She introduced herself as Ms. Blue. The crew gave up the crates, as per task which was deemed fulfilled. In return, they received a riddle which led them to believe the next stop in the hunt lies in the Pope system in planet Leides orbit on a space station named “Very7”. And while the Commander is within his ritual, Guruba and Hollis have the command, which is a great training opportunity. Dean asks Kallopa to create stressful situations for Guruba to evaluate his reactions and critical thinking as leading officer in crisis situations.
In the end Both, Dean and the Commander had to regain their strength on the med bay, following their advances into greatly unknown territories. While they recover, Guruba steered the Twilight in the direction of Medéllin, to maybe get the artefact from El Patron – another piece of the puzzle.
03.02.3894, Wednesday

Starting up, Dean holds council with Kallopa evaluating Guruba`s training progress. It seems he is at his core a good commander but tends to lean a little much on the “work by book” mentality for now. After that the Twilight docked at the Isla de Muerte to once again visit “El Patron”, Deans grandmother. They asked her about the artifact; she once used to defeat the invaders at the Cathedral. On the way there, Dean buys some nice instruments from a Bazar shop and meets Johnny Deranged, a musician who helps him to fix up the instruments for Zero G ops.
At grandma`s, the learn she has a new IO Ms. Maria Josina Fernandez. After talking and eventually convincing Deans grandmother to give them the artifact, the crew notices how much energy the talks drained from the Patron leaving her barely able to say goodbye before being supported by her feeding tubes again.
On the way out the commander gets a list of potential candidates for workers on Doma, from the ranks of the Isla de Muerte.
The Jumping continues with questions being asked and answered about Hollis’ „secret” stash and much training going on. Between one jump, Dean, Frank and Gretchen spoke about Deans plans to build a cemetery on Doma and both Frank and Gretchen promised to help as much as they can. The commander introduced the “Battle of the Arts”- contests.
Dean continued his Zero G training having visions about this Loki-individual again. This way he learned about the CSS Mons Olympos, a CredSec Flagship, which the Commander and Hollis found further information about.
While they were investigating, Dean had some talks with Sally, learning a bit about her past and what she did and does.
Reaching Moskau, the Twilight was held and searched by official authorities, due to a recent attack on the government district.
Landing on Jisay, Jerogiev went shopping with Kiumi.
Commander Zoldak and Dean went on to meet up with Mr. Arasaka and Gr.Adm. Kaneda sharing their every secret they learned about in the last few years. They told about the ancient stations, liquid metal, their Connect-job regarding the white metal boxes, the crizzle-guys and much, much more, leaving Mr. Arasaka and Kaneda kind of flabbergasted about the information situation aboard the Twilight.
They also met with a Nissin official to broker a deal, which did not went as planned and the deal was dismissed for now. Albeit that the Twilights Nissin connection is still very good.
Trying to learn more about the weird aspects of their recent findings, they went to Frank Gillards gallery to find it empty with a well-guarded office, which they could not enter easily, they went on to find other ways but just found cam-guarded rooms which were raided shortly after they left. Turns out Arasaka ops were observing Gillards, because he was part of an implant smuggling ring. They learned Gillard was held at the Ditch and questioned about his “business”.
They also set up another meeting with empress Yunkosai Jung and went on to party and having another BotV.
13.02.3894, Saturday

Meanwhile Dean buys a new Battledress from ICap and the Commander buys some new skill related implant tech. They then held the meeting with the empress and told her about the situation and were instructed to have the “diplomatic” conversation with the administration in the name of the empress. After that they went to the Ditch to question Gillard about the weird artifact implant and the wrecked [NRA] ship on the other continent, when they felt they were close to finding out the truth from him he was assassinated using the brain implant frying his head, killing him. Seems someone was not exactly happy about what the crew was going on about and had to take precautions.
They got some of the rest of the crew and went to the “Drag Stag Bar”, which they learned about from Arasaka was a common meeting place for Gillard and his clients. There they unexpectedly met with one of the EcholonSig guys, turned out EcholonSig 16 to be precise, and bought some intel off him. The Commander paid up MCr 250.0 and learned the name of Gillards “patron”, one Mr. Phillip Grey in Herte, Sol Secundae. Yokuichi also found out, Gillard was recently sending information from the bar to a SecNet satellite, which was common to be honest.
Back at Arasaka`s he told the crew, Mr. Phillip Grey was and is the First Warden of CredSec, the highest-ranking functionary of this faction.
After that they went to look for their asset, the Lucifers sons, asserted dominance and found out everything was going to plan at this point.
They once again visited the wrecked [NRA] ship on the second continent, where they found out, that Dean had some artifacts found from their first “visit” that, seemingly on their own, interacted with the ship’s environment while aboard.
They got to intact artifact from it one that seems to be some kind of blade weapon, and one that seems to be some form of electrical workstation.
Following that, the Twilight jumped to Lis, clearing some old dues of Dean aboard the wreckadge of the Nightslayer.
27.04.3894, Tuesday

The crew starts out this next chapter in the orbit of Reach, while Lizzy works on a small hack, suggesting the Twilight would be jumping forth and back between the “known” systems within the “Cerberus Void”. All the while, the Commander, Dean and Hollis are visiting Memmo on his Flagship “KMS Playa de Palma”. As per Deans request, Memmo is giving him some convenient literature on “Nuggetology”, so Dean may study and learn this particular delicate sub-field of psychology.
Within their next Jump, heading in the direction of Doma, a grand “cook-off-challenge” is being held on the Twilight, giving the crew a thing to focus on and not think to much about the possible end of the world all the time. Guruba and Greenger are being victorious in the challenge.
While jumping Dean has a lengthy talk with Jerogiev, who confessed he, Renard and Greenger were making plans to intercept Deans drones for fresh beer. They already have a map with the highest number of drones which would provide fresh drinks every two minutes. He continues to say that Renard would be delighted, if the drones would carry fresh fruit cocktails, but the group of men suggested he`d grow a pair.
Next Jump the Commander debates the socially acceptable amount of “hotness” on human food, and what kind of scale would be applicable. The whole ordeal seems like a comically intellectual debate, but Ferris and Greenger are very serious about the topic. Following that the Commander orders Ferris to train the crew in all thing’s jungle and wet environment as on Doma, and Greenger should brace himself for at least one expedition into the jungle.
While the Commander debates, Dean, once more, holds council with his “thinkers’ guild” suggesting renaming the group since it was not the same without smart, and he would like a name more suitable for the purpose of the group, being watch from the shadows, guarding the crew and people of Sprava. They renamed the group officially into “Twilight”, to represent their routs as well as their purpose. He also wants to recruit new members and asks for suggestions from the members. They agreed on asking the medical assistant Sarah Milana Carter to join the “Twilight”.
On the next jump, Dean heads to Greenger and talks to him about necessary and unnecessary risks while on Doma. Dean asks him to be not too eager about adventure, at least not as to at all costs.
Meanwhile the Commander heads to Sally and offers her a job as administrator on Doma, supporting social and industrial development which she gladly agrees to, after no consideration whatsoever. She and the Commander talk a lot and bake together, which she liked very much.
The twilight`s crew then returned to Doma, being happily embraced (especially Ferris). The crew first met Casimir, son of Dee and Casper, and head to the mansion, where a great party is held. Stories are being shared and information updated, while the possible end of humanity is not being told at the first day. In the evening, the Commander openly makes Guruba his official number three (Lt. Commander Sen. Gr.) after IO Cpt. Hollis. After that, the Commander orders Dean to test Guruba extensively, allowing him to recruit whoever he needs and do whatever he must, to prepare Guruba for whatever may come. Dean, after a long and heavy internal struggle agrees and accepts the responsibility which comes with that, which is something, Dean wanted to avoid at all costs in the past.
Coming next sunrise, the population of Doma is being gathered at the Twilight and informed about the possible destruction of humanity in the sector. The Commander valiantly promises to do everything he can to give everyone at least a chance. He recites Dean, by saying “We are the ones doing the impossibly”
Following that, some of them fly to the hill, on which Dean wants to build his temple garden and cemetery. They inspect the area and surroundings and explore the cave beyond the hill, finding a deep pit, which lead to a giant under ground sea, lying at least several kilometres under the surface level. On a closer look they find out there lives at least one gigantic water creature in the water. The hill is being observed by drones from now on and work on top of the mountain begins.
Back in the camp, the crew slowly adapts to the life within the colony, passing their time with helping to unload and build up everything they brought here to support the colony. Dean and Sally cook together, and Commander and Dee work on the science behind the APB-sword. Lizzy and Casper finish the counter-spyware in the colony’s server environment and begin with installing the software aboard the Twilight.
Finally, Dean meets up with Sarah M. Carter and tells her about the “Twilight” group and their purpose. HE gets to know her somewhat better and is positively surprised by her wit and honesty. She seems very fit to join, which Dean promptly suggests. She agrees to become a member imideatly.
14.05.3894, Friday
The crew starts out on Doma, planning to head out to the moon “Kabumm” to, once more, engage in a conversation with the Odin-interface. After Dee and Casper were reintroduced into the active crew of the Twilight, they shuttled their way up there, to find the barren station. Sure enough they find the entrace, leading into the depths of the station, which had a similar layout as the last of the big stations they visited.
Once they powerd on the VI-interface, a lengthy conversation between Odin, the Commander and Dean ensued, leading to them learning numerous new things. Below is a transcript of what was asked and answered.
(Queue: Binary Quote)
After the conversation ended, the crew went back to Doma, talking about, what would be next on their agenda. They decide to go to the Jelka system, to get the latest updates on the “fold-space-science” from their compatriots at Trinity. They meet Dr. Raider of Trinity and talk to her about what was going down, and what effects their science had had on the sector as a whole. They find Dr. Raider being somewhat detached and weird in her interaction towards the Commander and Dean, but what really threw them of, was the fact that she seems constantly eager to find excuses, as to why Dr. Jung was not available to meet up with them the whole time. Nevertheless, they went to the floating wreckage to investigate. Guruba found the nearby floating front of the wreckage, enableing Commander and Dean to check out the front of the ancient [NRA] ship where they found to destroyed capsules with golden plates on it reading Commander Loki Sanderstholm as well as Lt. Commander J.G. Ellizbieta Dovanov, which they both remembered was the name of the elderly lady they encountered in a Kabuki-Undercity hospital years ago.
15.06.3894, Monday
The operation begins in the wreckage of the Karkarov, specifically between the pilot and copilot seats of Loki and Ell. The moment the Clockwork 17, under the command of Captain Marc Tennessee, enters the system, powerful waves of psi particles become perceptible, clearly emanating from the two of them. Dean and the Commander manage to resist the mental influence only with great difficulty.
A conversation with Dr. Rayder follows while Dean, together with Kallopa, Ferris, and Mingus, secures the area. They gain access to a laboratory still heavily contaminated with Slaanesh residue. When Ferris is caught by the sphere and severely injured, Dean opens fire on the object. As a result, Dr. Jung—who had been acting as the sphere’s mental anchor—dies and is dragged into foldspace. With his death, the influence collapses abruptly. Dr. Rayder is released from its control, breaks down in tears, and is immediately evacuated to the Twilight.
Dean and the Commander then move to the station’s bridge in order to steer the structure on a controlled trajectory toward the star. Dean removes several server racks and brings them aboard for later analysis. He then personally inspects the Clockwork 17. The inspection reveals no irregularities; everything appears legitimate. The captain is ordered to leave the system and instructed to refer any further inquiries to Commander Zoldak. The Clockwork 17 subsequently departs the system.
After the jump to Brest, Dean encounters Fennet. Fennet determines that Dean is not one of the “old men” who are apparently intercepting drones. Shortly afterward, news reaches Dean and the Commander of the loss of the Connect base. The Commander asks Dean to prepare the soldiers for the impossible. Dean suggests assigning this task to Mingus or Ferris, but the Commander insists that the troops need to hear it from Dean himself. Dean refuses and tells the Commander to find someone else for that speech.
On the way to Lis, while passing through a Leerse tank system, Mingus confronts Dean about his absence from training. After learning about the disagreement with the Commander, Mingus dryly remarks that, in his opinion, it would be sufficient to tell the soldiers that Dean would kick their asses until the job was done, if necessary. Dean then promises to rejoin training starting the next day.
The following morning, Dean is already sitting in the training hall—dead drunk, severely sleep-deprived, and with the Wiesel mask in his possession. He stares at it for a long time before realizing that everyone is already present. He begins to speak, recounting his time in the USE, where he worked his way through the ranks in an effort to improve the situation of the soldiers. He explains that the nickname he received during that time was the greatest farce of his life, and that “Wiesel,” the name given to him by his Master Sergeant, would have been far more accurate. Dean emphasizes that he does not want to hold any rank aboard the ship—because it was precisely rank that once led him to send thousands of people to their deaths. Regardless of what happens, he promises to be there, to fight or to do whatever is necessary.
Kallopa then begins chanting the soldier’s mantra: “Born a soldier, die a soldier.” Dean appears internally torn; his expression shows compassion, which Mingus immediately notices. After the speech, Hollis waits for Dean and pays him respect for what he said, without further comment.
Meanwhile, Commander Zoldak composes a message to Phillip Grey. Lizzy and Casper are tasked with establishing contact. In the message, he requests a conversation—either directly or through an authorized representative—regarding several sensitive matters, including Giovanni Sator, the CSS Mons Olympos, Sanderstholm, and the arrival of the Administrators. The contact is successfully established.
After the jump into the unknown system 0909, the Commander speaks with Dee. He asks her and Casper to look after Jin and Kiumi should anything ever happen to him. In the meantime, Dean spends a great deal of time in the medbay with Ferris, who remains in a coma. He speaks quietly to him, asking him to come back and admitting that he cannot handle all of this alone. He tells Ferris that he may be the best sergeant he ever had and begs him to wake up.
After the jump to Aurora, Dean works with Carter from the Twilight to expand the cabin. During this time, he explains the covert responsibilities of the Twilight grouping: the crew is to be monitored without their knowledge, and the information gathered must never be used against the crew itself. The ship then refuels in Aurora.
23.06.3894, Tuesday

After refueling in Aurora, the Twilight is powered up once more and sets a course for the Heart-of-the-Void system. During the approach, Dean speaks with Guruba about the composition of the delegation for the upcoming meeting with the Administration. Dean suggests involving Guruba directly in the selection process and explains that it was precisely Guruba’s seemingly “spineless” way of life that once allowed him to survive and escape Kabuki as a true survivor. This pragmatic, highly adaptable perspective could prove to be a decisive advantage when dealing with the Administration. Guruba recognizes the value of this viewpoint and agrees to the proposal.
At the same time, the Commander speaks with Hollis. He instructs him to remain on the bridge of the Twilight so that the ship retains clear leadership in his absence. No matter what may happen, Hollis is told to forgive himself for his mistakes, to be aware of his own strength, and to use that strength to help others move forward.
With their arrival in the Heart-of-the-Void system, the mission reaches a critical point. Scans locate an unknown structure, the approach to which will take another full day. For the external operation, Dean is bolted into his gear; Summers visibly shows her concern during the process. Before the team is assembled, Dean has a lion’s head mounted onto his armor. The landing group consists of the Commander, Dean, Guruba, Mingus, and Renard.
Upon entering the station, they pass through an airlock corridor made of white Wiodian. A single droplet forms on the ceiling and manifests as an information unit, informing the arrivals that the life-support systems are active. The unit specifically asks for Commander Zoldak and instructs him to follow it.
The ensuing conversation remains controlled, yet clearly aligned with the interests of the so-called Odin Unit. The Commander presents his own proposal: humanity could contain foldspace technology itself, thereby protecting the control group—and ultimately itself—from its uncontrollable consequences. After this statement, the group is granted permission to withdraw for internal deliberation.
In the discussion that follows, Renard argues that fleeing through foldspace would be the safest option. Guruba, on the other hand, proposes securing support through the targeted “purchase” of privileges. Dean initially sides with Renard’s assessment. Renard then adds, however, that Guruba’s approach could, in the long term, lead to technological solutions capable of protecting against foldspace itself—an idea that casts the group’s dilemma in an entirely new light.
08.07.3894, Wednesday

The scene resumes in the conference room that was provided to the group by the Odin entity within the station. There, the discussion with Odin is continued. In a decisive round of negotiations, the Commander manages to achieve a far-reaching success: through his argumentation, he is granted permission to save up to one million human lives—an agreement of enormous significance.
When the group mentions their earlier interaction with Loki, they are subsequently escorted to an Administrator. This entity questions them in detail about the nature of that encounter and concludes that the interaction was not reactive in nature. As a result, it may have been nothing more than residual information or remaining data fragments, rather than an active, sentient presence.
The Administrator then explains the nature of its own existence. It states that the Administrators were created to ensure the survival of humanity. It describes itself as being less a physical being and more a construct of information—knowledge, data, and continuity outweigh material form.
During the conversation, the group asks several questions about Elzbieta Dovanov. The Administrator confirms that she was located within an Abstergo facility, opening new connections and potential leads. Finally, the group is assured that propulsion systems and additional technology will be made available to them.
After the long and intensive discussion, the group departs the station. Shortly thereafter, they execute a jump to Megon 1512, bringing this phase of the journey to a close and marking the beginning of the next.
10.07.3894, Wednesday

Dean speaks with Hollis about how the crew has received the outcome of the talks with the Administration. Hollis reports that the general mood is one of cautious hope. The crew has seen that the leadership is genuinely trying everything possible to keep them alive, and that effort has not gone unnoticed. Dean explains why he has been avoiding the medbay and Summers in particular; Hollis dismisses this reasoning as nonsense.
Shortly afterward, Dean and the Commander are led by Summers into the medbay, where they learn that Ferris has awakened after twenty-eight days in a comatose state. Though visibly weak, Ferris is in good spirits. He remarks that he considers himself excessively perceptive, which he believes is the reason he was blasted in the first place. Dean teases him lightly, prompting Ferris to recount strange visions from his coma: white spacecraft drifting through a red-orange mist. The crew later speculates that these may have been CSS vessels operating in Orca space.
Upon arrival in the Megon 1512 system, the Twilight refuels before immediately jumping onward to Moscow. During this time, the Commander quietly observes Ferris, paying close attention to his condition.
Once preparations for Moscow are underway, the Commander speaks with Yokuichi and assigns her to begin counter-espionage operations against the Sprava upon arrival. She agrees but advises that acquiring a stealth corvette would be highly beneficial for such work, estimating the cost at 375 million credits.
Dean later approaches Renard, asking why he made his proposal during the discussion with the Administration. Renard admits that he cannot accept the idea of abandoning quadrillions of people to death and that the scientific challenge itself deeply compels him. Dean supports him, stating his belief that humanity is better off unregulated—that humanity creates its own horrors, and humanity must also be the one to destroy them. He wishes Renard good luck and mentions that he intends to visit Dr. Larsen Rayder next.
Dean offers his condolences to Rayder for her loss. She responds that Dr. Jung’s death was necessary. When Dean asks whether she could research the phenomenon further, she deflects the question by dryly asking whether Dean is not supposed to be the janitor. She insists that she is fine and subtly indicates that she would prefer to continue working. Afterward, Dean suggests to the Commander that Rayder should be kept under observation.
05.08.3894, Tuesday

The episode begins mid-jump toward Moscow. During transit, Dean starts analyzing data collected by his drones, mapping who was present where and when aboard the Twilight, and identifying points of overlap and interaction within the crew.
At the same time, the Commander works with Licner, Townley, Button, and Gretchen to supervise the installation of newly acquired technology from Myslos. Their task is not only to oversee the integration but also to evaluate and understand the systems once the ship is underway.
Upon arrival in Moscow—via Jisay—the Commander receives a call from his assigned CredSec representative. A credit line of ten billion credits is approved, distributed over thirty years, with an immediate monthly payment of 27,777,777.78 credits. Following this, the Commander requests a meeting with his co-conspirators: Kabukisama Arasaka, Kaneda of ICap, and Empress Yunkosai Jung.
Dean, meanwhile, contacts Wyre Friggus, his coach, and invites him out for drinks in two days’ time. He also invites the Sins and members of the crew to meet at a saloon bar on Umimaru. From that moment on, the bar is officially named The Saloon, and Licner joins the gathering as well.
A meeting of the four conspiratorial factions—ICap, Arasaka, Sprava, and Jung—follows, during which sensitive information is exchanged. Each faction is instructed to assemble a team of five operatives who will receive implants on their behalf. Responsibilities are divided accordingly: Yunkosai Jung provides Secret Service assets, Kabukisama Arasaka oversees research, and Grand Admiral Kaneda commits resources tied to the Ark.
The Commander formally requests a stealth corvette from Kaneda. The vessel is purchased at a discounted price of 4.4 million credits, registered under the name of Jin Baotze, and christened La Real. It is assigned to Yokuichi for counter-espionage operations. In parallel, ICap commissions three evacuation ships for a classified escape contingency: SEV Oni, SEV Nippon, and SEV Kaiju.
The Commander later approaches Taidama and recruits him into the Twilight project, tasking him with researching and recreating the technology behind his sword. He also meets with Dr. Rayder, requesting her cooperation in the study of artifacts and degenerate technology. From that point forward, Rayder is placed in service under Arasaka.
A visit to The Saloon follows, where Dean meets with his coach and exchanges stories. During the evening, Dean is approached by Michael Soyya, who asks whether a package has arrived. He explains that a young woman delivered it as a donation to the Saloon, insisting it be passed on to the Commander. The night escalates when Licner starts a brawl involving James Kenray and his family—his wife Mary-Ann, daughter Beth, and son Larry.
The crate is later opened in front of the Twilight. Inside is Grump’s armor, worn during the Hydra operation. An accompanying video feed reveals that Grump is still alive and has been captured by Wilkinson.
The following day, the Commander tasks Lizzy with investigating the distorted voices recorded aboard the abducting ship, searching for any linguistic clues or other identifying details. Dean then visits Gin, known as Snowman, at his home, surprising him mid-dive in the avatar space and recruiting him on the spot. Afterward, Dean approaches Kyra, also known as D3xtr3, at the Misaki corporate compound. He makes her the same offer, and she appears receptive.
Both Gin and Kyra ultimately join the crew. Dee is assigned the task of constructing a dedicated headquarters for the Twilight group within the ship. The Twilight then jumps to Tenshinao.
While work on the new headquarters is underway, Dean speaks with Townley about the bar fight at The Saloon. Townley bluntly states that she was not drunk and that the fight felt better than sex. Around the same time, Summers confronts the Commander about his drug use. She makes it clear that he cannot afford such behavior given what lies ahead, forbids him from continuing, and prescribes an alternative compound instead.
After refueling in Tenshinado, the ship jumps beneath Pacifica. Dean gives Snowman and D3xtr3 a full tour of the vessel and explains the broader situation. He also informs the Twilight Council that the two newcomers are to be evaluated and, if deemed suitable, considered for potential inclusion in the council itself.
The journey continues with a jump to Haggris. During the approach, Dean instructs Lizzy to monitor what tasks Kyra and Gin take on during their daily routines. The sequence concludes with the Twilight’s arrival in the Haggris system.
18.09.3894, Wednesday
Upon arrival in the Haggris system, Dean approaches Button with a specific request: he asks whether Button can construct a Wolf MK II drone fitted with battledress and modeled as a replicant of Dean himself. Button confirms that this is possible. In parallel, an inquiry is sent to CredSec regarding the availability of Wolf MK II drones. Twenty-seven units are listed at seventeen million credits each. Fifteen of these drones are currently present in-system and are purchased immediately. In the depot, Dean has one of the Wolf MK II drones fitted into a full battledress configuration.
The Commander then contacts Casper with instructions to distribute a video file across the entire sector. In the broadcast message, addressed to all citizens of the Splash Nebula, the Commander publicly denounces the group known as the Hollow, declaring them responsible for the attack involving the crashing ship on Jisay. He formally declares every member of the Hollow to be outlaws. Runners, soldiers, and civilians alike are urged not to allow themselves to be further infiltrated and to actively hunt down the Hollow as a symbol of resistance. Addressing the Hollow and their supporters directly, the Commander issues a warning: they have one month to surrender. If they do not, they will be slaughtered at the front.
Alongside the broadcast, two encrypted messages are sent. A level-17 encrypted message is addressed to Shirley Donnahue, expressing interest in resuming relations. A level-19 encrypted message is sent to Fiona Thresher, stating that while the sender lacks full clarity on the matter at hand, there may be former members of Lion Squad present on Skald, Eumedes. The information is explicitly marked as unverified and dangerous to investigate. MilTec may not react favorably. If Fiona wishes to talk or meet, she is instructed to leave a message on a one-time pad ID, signed as “a friend of your father.”
The Twilight then jumps to Mikasa. During the transit, Dean asks Ferris to begin instructing him in unarmed combat. Upon arrival in Mikasa, cybernetic implants are installed in the Commander, Dean, Guruba, Kallopa, and Summers.
The ship proceeds with a jump to Thebes, followed by a three-day recharge period. Afterward, they jump to Pope in order to return for “the Hunt,” an event organized by the Connect Group. From there, the group moves on to Daphney, where local guides lead them into the caves of Caphei.
At this point, Dean separates from the group and flies back alone, driven by fear he cannot fully articulate. Events within the cave continue without him, involving Murdock Flier. Inside the cavern system, the group encounters a young girl who appears to be searching the stone walls for traces. She initially behaves in a friendly, even timid manner, but it is soon revealed that she is a psi-priestess. The group discovers an entrance into the Spire, which induces a severe shrinking effect. As a result, the researchers within the cave appear gigantic to them. Despite this distortion, the group successfully secures an extremely bright, highly saturated yellow spearhead.
03.10.3894, Thursday

The team secures the artifact and exits the caves. A scan for additional psy-tech returns a brief signal that vanishes on the following sweep, suggesting either movement or deliberate concealment. The Twilight jumps to Okinawa, where another psy-tech ping is detected. Using shipboard scanners, the crew locates a ruin and begins preparations for infiltration.
Before the operation, Dean thanks the Commander for what happened on Caphei. The Commander returns the thanks and gives Dean a firm pat on the right shoulder. Just prior to infiltration, Dean visits the armory. Standing before his armor, he mounts a falcon’s head onto the right pauldron. As Summers bolts him into the suit, she is intensely focused, almost grim. She tells Dean that she is close to a breakthrough regarding his armor—and that what she is discovering is deeply unsettling.
The infiltration team consists of the Commander, Dean in battledress, Button, Ferris in battledress, and Jarakume. Inside the ruin, they discover the Cerebrum Artifact. Communication is established through a simple binary system: one flash for “yes,” two for “no.”
Through this method, they learn that the Shiguen Federation experimented on the entity, but did not abandon it out of fear, nor did they create it. There was a conflict between the entity and humanity, and humans attempted to erase it. It previously existed within partitions A–F of a major laboratory and had been present on Caidan. Humans brought it to this location. It is dangerous to humans, but not clearly hostile—its answers suggest nuance rather than malice, including that some researchers were not considered enemies.
The entity is neither artificial intelligence nor biological, nor does it originate from foldspace. It is contained within the artifact and is trapped there. It confirms that this artifact was the only free receiver when its deletion was attempted and that it transmitted itself here deliberately. It desires survival and growth, but does not clearly seek a physical form, nor does it confirm an intent to harm humans in order to grow.
The entity cannot transmit itself from its current position, nor from aboard the Twilight, and knows no way to free itself. It does, however, agree to accept the risk of research if it might eventually lead to its release. The artifact requires its cooling systems to be transported with it, not because of radiation, but because it cannot survive otherwise.
When asked, the entity states that it has no name, but wants one. It claims to have existed for approximately 1.63 years and chooses the name Ceres for itself.
The Twilight jumps to Rui, where the crew spends four days refilling and recovering. Dean later speaks with Licner about the situation and the morale of Licner’s crew. They share a drink together and toast to survival.
Elsewhere, the Commander gives Dee and Casper a direct order: they are to disembark in Moscow with Casimir and the Baotze siblings and allow themselves to be shuttled into the Sphere’s research facility. Both are visibly unhappy with the assignment, but accept the order.
After a jump into an empty system, Dean checks in with Carter, who is monitoring Dexter and Snowman, both locked in continuous deep-dive states. She reports that tensions are high and admits she would prefer to take direct control herself.
Back in Moscow, the crew meets with Arasaka, who also carries an implanted artifact capable of influencing magnetism. Together, they discuss the possibility of creating a Wiodian basin near Doma to act as a large-scale shielding field.
The ship departs for Pupunooli. During the jump, Dean bolts himself to the exterior hull to experience the transition directly. This time, he encounters the Void unfiltered—pure darkness, with only Loki as a vessel. He perceives the accretion disk of a black hole where Loki’s consciousness was once trapped. The strain is immense.
Dean survives the ordeal, but not unscathed. He forgets Emma Smart entirely and loses all memory of Hollis. He still remembers who the Commander is, but forgets the skull of the Administrator. His mind is filled with overlapping memories—his own and Loki’s—struggling against each other.
When Dean later boards the lab ship, recognition strikes: he immediately identifies the Administrator’s skull.
22.10.3894, Tuesday

After completing a jump and refueling cycle, the ship remains powered down for two days. During this time, Dean reports to the medbay and confides in Jerogiev. After a thorough examination, Jerogiev notes slightly elevated brain activity and instructs Dean to document his symptoms in the form of a journal. Dean acknowledges that he will likely need to speak with Summers as well.
Dean sends a message to the Commander, stating that the artifact is not an artificial intelligence but an Administrator. The two meet outside the medbay, where the Commander asks Dean to clarify the message. Dean explains that he is not only suffering from memory gaps, but has also gained additional memories—those of Loki Sanderstholm—acquired during his exposure to the Void and the accretion disk. Through these memories, Loki recognized the skull as the head of an Administrator, a being responsible for the destruction of his species, which fills Dean with profound fear. The Commander advises Dean not to expose himself to the Void again and instead attempt to access these foreign memories through meditation or similar controlled methods.
In the Watch I system, a CSM battle group is detected. To maintain stealth, all systems except sensors are powered down. Upon arrival, the capital fleet Noshuure scans and identifies them. A five-day refueling period follows.
During this downtime, Dean attempts an improvised meditation exercise. He succeeds to a limited degree, gaining awareness of the black hole’s location and realizing that the Administrator’s skull once belonged to a complete body.
The ship then jumps to an empty system above Cres, where a small refueling station is discovered. A strike team consisting of the Commander, Dean, Ferris, Mingus, and Kallopa—each in battledress—pursues and destroys a small shuttle carrying a psyker, who is killed in the engagement. The crew refuels on site for two days.
Dean and Kallopa search the wreckage. They find the psy-priest’s corpse, its skull sealed shut and containing inactive residue. They also recover transportable shielding alloy used by the CSM fleet—an unknown material that provides a notable enhancement to laser weapon effectiveness.
In a later conversation between Dean, the Commander, and Summers, Dean questions whether it truly matters who is saved when so many lives are lost regardless. The Commander responds firmly that whoever saves a single life saves humanity itself.
The Twilight arrives in the Pupunooli system and refuels for six days. A system scan confirms the presence of a psy artifact. In orbit around Conis, the crew encounters a COD orbital ruin. The Commander, Dean, Ferris, Mingus, and Kallopa board the structure and locate the tracking signal of the sixty-ninth drone, which crashed on Conis.
Following the drone’s trail, they discover five cone-shaped structures arranged in a perfect circular formation six kilometers below the surface. Roughly two kilometers away, on the ocean floor, they find the entrance to a shielded Abstergo facility. Despite their efforts, the team is unable to determine how to safely interact with or breach the installation.
The session ends with the group positioned on the ocean floor, within three submerged access tubes, facing the unknown depths of the facility ahead.
05.11.3894, Monday

The sequence resumes on the ocean floor, where the team continues its efforts to breach the submerged installation. After locating the sub-speeder within the wreck of the Serenity, they manage to gain access to the Abstergo base. Inside the massive hangar, they discover the MSV Apollon. They also locate a Rift Table, a device designed to interface with the five cone-shaped structures previously identified.
The group begins an extensive review of stored data and archived information. While searching through task logs, Dean uncovers repeated references to so-called “Splitters”—artifacts of which only one has so far been recovered: a gray cube that Giovanni Sator used within a containment bubble for protection. The Commander searches for records of additional facilities but finds none. He then traces the last logged scientific contact associated with Sator to Professor Emili Satin.
Further investigation reveals that Abstergo issued a contract over 110 years ago to acquire Professor Satin’s data. Analysis of the recovered files indicates that the Splitters can be used to shield against influences of the same force while traveling through foldspace. Records show that the final known artifact, designated the Cubus, was discovered on Ingunn.
It is decided that the lab ship will travel to Moscow to share these findings with Arasaka and ICap. A message is sent to Yokuichi, instructing her to report to the Exodus Base and support the emerging strategic ambitions.
The Twilight jumps to an empty system beneath Kalfoorn and refuels for two days, followed by another jump to an empty system beneath Watch I for an additional two-day refuel. During this transit, Dean speaks with Jarakume about Summers’ research and explains why it ultimately cannot be applied. He admits that he has rejected the modification entirely. Dean confides that he never considered surviving the traumas he and Jarakume endured to be a form of luck. Jarakume responds that, statistically, survival may indeed be luck—but that having people who helped him overcome the trauma is what truly deserves to be called luck.
The ship then jumps to Hashi, where it refuels for eight days. There, Kallopa approaches Dean to ask about rumors concerning Skald and Dean’s former unit. Dean shows him footage from the planet’s surface, explains how the situation unfolded, and admits that he gave the location to the sergeant’s daughter.
Next, the Twilight jumps to an unknown system designated 1613 and refuels for four days. Upon arrival, the crew realizes that they have emerged into a dark gray, viscous, near-liquid mass. The substance measures –25°C, which is considered relatively warm under the circumstances. Pushing through the cloud, they locate a wormhole leading to Lis.
At the station, the crew encounters the Eye of Yrr’Gzithcs, which launches both visual and psychic attacks against them. The threat is neutralized in an improvised but effective manner—by sealing it with expanding construction foam. In doing so, the crew secures a third artifact.
08.11.3894, Thursday

The sequence begins in the unknown system 1712 after the crew jumps clear of the gray goo. A two-day reload period follows. During this time, Dean performs an EVA on the outer hull of the ship. To test the environment, he throws a piece of debris away from the hull; it disintegrates in a sudden burst of energy, visibly causing the surrounding bubble to expand. Mingus fires a shot in a predetermined direction, while Hollis maneuvers along another fixed vector. Together, these actions confirm that a collapse is underway.
With Gretchen’s assistance, the Twilight manages to execute an emergency jump just in time, escaping to Tenshinao. There, the ship refuels for two days.
Afterward, the Commander and Dean speak privately about the possibility that Wilkinson may be present in Tenshinao. They discuss plans for raiding the base should that prove to be the case, focusing in particular on Grump’s file and whether the team should be informed about the possibility that he may still be alive. During the conversation, Dean drinks milk—vanilla instead of strawberry—which the Commander notices for the first time. This sparks shared memories of earlier situations where Dean deliberately chose milk over alcohol.
The Commander then briefs Mingus and Ferris, showing them the video footage of Grump’s armor and Wilkinson, and explaining what Wilkinson has done. Both Mingus and Ferris react with understanding and quickly shift into pre-mission mode. Nevertheless, they are clearly shaken by the possibility that Grump might still be alive.
Later, the Commander goes looking for Dean and finds him in the Twilight headquarters, standing alone in the cargo bay, facing a wall. They discuss which members of the crew should participate in the raid. Half-jokingly, they place a bet on how quickly Casper and Dee will hear about the plan and come to confront the Commander—Dean betting it will happen in under thirty seconds, the Commander betting it will take longer.
As expected, Dee soon confronts them and argues to be included in the raid. Dean flatly refuses. Dee counters that she wants to protect Casper, prompting both Dean and the Commander to decide that Dee and Casper will remain aboard the ship. Dean then speaks with Casper, who is furious and deeply frustrated that Button will be joining the raid in his place. Button repeatedly seeks confirmation of his assignment, asks for detailed briefings, and mentally braces himself for what lies ahead.
The Commander addresses the crew, delivering a briefing on the upcoming raid, openly acknowledging the dangers involved and urging everyone to prepare themselves for the difficult period ahead. The raid team begins assembling their equipment and finalizing preparations. The plan is to allow themselves to be carried from an asteroid directly toward the base, minimizing detection as they approach.
10.11.3894, Saturday

During the approach to the station, Dean speaks with Hollis and makes the situation clear: the station will not negotiate. No prisoners will be taken, and Hollis is instructed not to respond to any attempts at negotiation.
Inside the shuttle, Dean speaks privately with the Commander and asks him to strip Grump of his title and all authority within the Twilight. The Commander agrees without hesitation and formally removes Grump from his position on the spot.
The shuttle detaches from the asteroid and drifts toward the station, remaining undetected. It then comes to a controlled halt alongside the station, still unnoticed. At this point, the Commander activates his low-tech Crizzle device.
Once aboard, the team begins by infiltrating a power plant section. From there, they establish a digital link to a missile bay to secure an escape option using the Wolf MK II drones if necessary. They disable a surveillance camera without drawing attention, then proceed to search the staff offices for a crew registry. Their findings indicate that only five maintenance workers remain on the station, operating under a foreman named Date Yoshika.
Button deploys a drone to monitor the crew corridors and identifies two guards wearing specialized Hollow armor. Sabotage operations on level five proceed cleanly, targeting the heat sinks near the Medusa Ink base. A maintenance worker named Kagawa is encountered; the stabilizers are manipulated, and the maintenance crew is successfully freed during a brief combat engagement.
With the outer systems compromised, the team infiltrates the station core. From there, the strike team pushes toward the bridge with the explicit goal of eliminating Wilkinson. A fight erupts in the bridge section but concludes quickly in a short, brutal engagement. All hostiles are neutralized, including Wilkinson herself.
The scene ends with the Commander killing a figure seated on the left, stabbing them through the throat beneath a black shroud. On the right-hand chair, the team discovers Grump still alive. In that moment, the Commander realizes that he unintentionally caused the death of his own mother.
18.11.3894, Saturday
Aboard the Hollow station, in the immediate aftermath of the Commander killing his mother, Button attempts to rewrite the station’s security protocols. The attempt succeeds. With control temporarily secured, the team plans their escape through the hangar on level six. The five remaining technicians are instructed to rendezvous there.
Dean retrieves his Arkfield Gauntlets in preparation for close-quarters combat. The technicians are ordered to make the frigate River Quest flight-ready in the hangar. On level five, the team attempts to rescue the prostitutes held on the station. They manage to force the majority of the remaining soldiers to surrender. During the chaos, the Commander engages and kills the MG sergeant. A grenade nest is destroyed, killing all who occupied it.
The rescued civilians include Diamond—also known as Grace Tullmen—along with Berry, Rose, Ivy, Sparkles, Moon, and Cat. Twelve soldiers remain alive but disarmed. The River Quest is made spaceworthy, and the group evacuates the station aboard it, with a shuttle flying in close support behind the frigate.
The Commander spends two days in the medbay, unconscious. After awakening, he visits Grump. Taking his hand, he apologizes, telling him that if he had commanded better during the fight, none of this would have happened. He admits that while nothing can undo what was lost, it feels damn good to have Grump back—and that together, they will make things right again. Grump’s mental state remains fragile. Summers later observes that the Commander’s eyes are heavily bloodshot.
The Commander retakes control of the bridge and orders Guruba and Hollis to join him. He announces his intention to send a message and instructs them to meet him in the hangar, along with the eleven surviving prisoners and Wilkinson’s body.
As the shuttle carrying the prisoners departs, the Commander records a video message. Mid-broadcast, he opens fire. A particle beam destroys the shuttle in flight. He thanks the Sentinels for their support of the Sprava operation and states that he granted the prisoners a quick death out of mercy. Any remaining members of the Hollow, he declares, will face far harsher punishment until the last of them is captured or destroyed. He names the Sprava Group as Servants of the People and orders the ship to set course for Skald.
After jumping to Kaiju and during refueling, Dean visits Grump. He tells him he will not stay long. He admits they tried to stop what happened, but fired on the wrong shuttle. He recalls apologizing with his last words back then and struggles to find the right ones now. He says he is glad Grump is back and hopes the man he knew is still in there. Dean places the book What’s Beautiful on Grump’s chest before leaving. Summers later tells Dean that while Grump carries guilt, he would have acted the same way if their roles had been reversed.
Dean then addresses the Twilight headquarters. He announces that this will be his last meeting with them and that the crew no longer needs to look inward—Dee will take over leadership to protect them. Dee tells Dean that he should make himself more available to Summers, as she has a pending request.
Dean speaks with Diamond—Grace—who is described as a tall, white-blonde woman with strong Nordic features and an accent. He asks why she does not want to return to Skald, which turns out to be her homeworld. She explains that she was sold into slavery there as a teenager. Dean offers her the chance to remain aboard the ship even beyond Shiguen space.
Finally, the Commander takes the core crew with him and fires Wilkinson’s corpse into the raging star at the system’s center, leaving that chapter behind. In the aftermath, the crew comes together to celebrate with a shared Battle of the Voices karaoke festival, marking their victory over Gracy May Wilkinson.
19.11.3894, Sunday

Following a psi-scan that confirms the presence of an anomaly within the system, the Twilight approaches the Sunstation. Summers, Kallopa, and Gretchen accompany the away team aboard the station, all equipped with HEV suits rated at Armor 6, featuring heavy radiation shielding and corrosion resistance.
Inside the station, they discover the remains of Saigon technician Lee Holmes along with seven corpses. The team carefully removes several containment bubbles from the station walls—each extracted by unscrewing aerogel plates and securing the bubbles intact. These “aerogel suckers,” now totaling eight bubble-like objects resembling soap bubbles, are transported back aboard the Twilight and stored in the Twilight headquarters.
The ship then jumps to Eumedes and enters a five-day refueling period. During this downtime, Dean speaks with Diamond—Grace—asking about her youth and whether she is familiar with the Campo de Lion region. She explains that only poachers would truly know that area and mentions that contacts can be made through the spaceport OSLO. She adds that another major commodity traded there is slaves, a subject that clearly affects her on a personal level. Dean advises her to speak with the Baotze twins, suggesting that they may share more in common than she realizes.
Upon arrival on Eumedes, the crew confirms that psi-tech activity is connected to Skald. Their investigation leads them to Sally, a vendor at a zoological shop, who directs them to Harrold, a man working in the basement. Harrold offers them Gwyst flying foxes—locally poached creatures—and, after being bribed, reveals his poacher contact: a woman named Teeva Mickelsen.
Dean, Ferris, Mingus, and Button eventually meet Teeva after an extended search at the foot of the Varga Mountains, a vast mountain range. They hire her to scout the Campo de Lion. Teeva reports that the camp appears to have been abandoned for a long time and claims no knowledge of any cave in the area. She is described as tall and blonde, with shaved sides and braided hair, carrying a hand axe fitted with Arcfield technology at her belt. Her entourage reflects a Mad Max–meets–Viking aesthetic: four trucks and four snowmobiles. She openly admits that Harrold sent them in order to earn her trust.
While inspecting a shuttle, the crew encounters Hava, who is wearing an old Lion Squad pilot jacket. Dean buys the jacket and her military boots from her. In return, she directs them to a green-point container belonging to a man named Dirge, who deals in smuggled goods. From Dirge, the crew purchases several crates of items salvaged from an old shuttle for 150 credits.
21.11.3894, Tuesday

Back aboard the Twilight, Dean orders the recovered crates to be examined for any indications of a second shuttle. The investigation reveals that the first shuttle was designated Vulcan 131, while the second carried the designation Vulcan 132. Anticipating resistance, Dean and Ferris pack specialized vehicle-destruction equipment in case they encounter armored targets during the operation.
Further analysis confirms that the camp Teeva located is not the same one the crew encountered in the past. Returning to the original coordinates, they uncover archived fifteen-second data streams from two years earlier, documenting fifteen separate package drops. A surface scan reveals the presence of a dome-like structure stretched over the original campsite, concealing what lies beneath.
During preparations, Dean speaks with Ferris and thanks him for putting up with Dean’s ways over the years. A full twenty-four hours are devoted to preparing for the operation. A ground team is assembled: the Commander, Dean, Button, Ferris, and Mingus. Battledress integration begins, with Button bringing his drone support.
In the midst of this, Summers discovers a small arrangement of candles placed near the remains of the Commander’s mother. She immediately recognizes that Dean left them there, along with his thought journal. In its final pages is a prayer, assembled from fragments of beliefs Dean carried before Hydra, ECB, and other defining events. Dean has been spending much of his time in hydroponics recently, deliberately making himself accessible to Summers.
The team notes the presence of Master Sergeant Zach Able—Dean’s only known acquaintance from the old Lion Squad, back when Able served as a PVC. The strike team penetrates the base hidden beneath the dome, where they find bodies killed by plasma weapons. They push deeper into the sealed installation carved into the mountain, following tunnels until they reach an R&D site. There they discover the body of an Indian scientist named C. Jiallwar. Using his access cards, they proceed into the technical and testing areas.
At the reception area, they locate the mainframe kill-switch components, along with camera systems monitoring the production facility. After a brief consultation and final preparations, a brutal and lethal battle erupts against the so-called “Dormants.” The fighting is intense and unforgiving. In the end, the crew succeeds in securing the Orb—the artifact that was their objective—but at a devastating cost.
Button and Mingus are killed during the engagement.
16.01.3894, Monday

While en route to the Twilight, the shuttle manages to pass through severe atmospheric disturbances caused by an implosion. During the flight, Hollis speaks with Dean and asks how Ferris is holding up. Dean admits that Ferris was deeply shaken by Mingus’s death. Hollis reflects on how unsettling it is that what they are doing no longer resembles conventional warfare, which makes the losses all the more shocking. He remarks that the Twilight has effectively been a warship for a long time. Dean appears composed and accepting—perhaps too much so.
When the Commander regains consciousness, he immediately asks Dean whether the device was recovered. He is informed of the KIA and confirms with Summers that neither Mingus nor Button could have been saved. He acknowledges this without argument, asks about the artifact, and orders a course set for Doma. The artifact is temporarily stored on a cleaning-supply shelf in the Twilight headquarters. Dean then passes the Commander’s orders on to Hollis.
The Twilight jumps to Kaiju for a seven-day reload. During this period, the Commander asks Summers for something that will keep him awake and reduce exhaustion. She offers to fit him with an autoinjector and prepare a stimulant compound, while also advising him to speak with Jerogiev or Grump. She notes that no one ever expected the Twilight to come this far, implying that he must have done something right. The Commander responds with a quote from his father: “Assume you’re already screwed—then nothing will surprise you.”
Later, Summers observes Dean trimming “grass” and asks whether he has used it often. Dean replies that he needs it for an unpleasant conversation with Dee. After a moment of hesitation, Summers asks if there is still space on Dean’s cemetery. Dean leads her to the plaque printer, where she asks for a memorial to her husband. Dean explains that the stone plates there preserve the history of the Twilight itself.
After a jump to Chihuahua, the crew interrogates a prisoner named Dallas Frisskan, who identifies Major Sarah McCerrin as the leader of the exploration group. He describes the fleet near Doma as consisting of five heavy fighters, four frigates, and two light cruisers. When urged to tell the truth so he may be treated as a regular combatant, Frisskan claims that the Commander is no soldier at all—no different from Wilkinson, someone who makes his own rules. In response, the Commander kills Frisskan with the Yellow Spear.
Dean later asks Taidama to teach him how to manufacture ammunition, and Taidama agrees. He remarks that Dean’s sword represents technology far beyond their current level, a comment Dean finds amusing. Summers prepares an autobooster for the Commander—code-named Geysir—which temporarily enhances his abilities at the risk of toxicity.
Dean checks in on Ferris, asking how he is doing and whether he has spoken to anyone. Ferris says he is holding up and has talked with several people aboard. When Dean mentions that Hollis asked about him, Ferris says he would expect nothing less and notes that Hollis has learned how to handle situations like this. Dean suggests Ferris speak with Taidama to restock his explosives.
After a jump to Pho and a seven-day reload, the Commander asks Dean whether it would be acceptable to bury Mingus and Button in his cemetery, and whether his mother might also have a place there. Dean shows him the steles and how they are printed. He asks about her name and what she was like. The Commander describes her as the purest soul he ever knew, someone who always stood protectively in front of him. He expresses regret that he did not return home sooner—perhaps he could have saved her.
The Commander reflects on how his ambitions escalated over time, how money, responsibility, and politics failed to bring happiness, and how influence ultimately means very little. Dean responds that the Commander now has the power and influence to decide what truly matters. Money, Dean says, loses its grip once it is no longer treated as paramount. The Commander credits his mother with instilling ambition and the drive to improve—to become someone better tomorrow than today, and far more than yesterday. He acknowledges that this is a heavy burden, but one he is willing to carry.
He then confesses his guilt over authorizing an orbital bombardment that killed civilians and his own soldiers. That day marked the moment he turned away from the military in search of greater influence—more power, more means—to help people who truly needed it. Dean advises him to accept that some cannot be saved, and to focus instead on those who still can be. The burden is heavy, but it must be borne.
As the Commander begins to falter, an orbital entity attempts to compromise him. Dean reminds him of a piece of advice the Commander himself once gave: “Think big.” He removes his chain of the Void Mother and gives it to the Commander, saying that his mother gave it to him as a gift—and that the Commander needs it more right now. Death comes when it comes; all that matters is how the remaining time is used. Take the first step. Be better than yesterday.
Dean explains that his faith is often dismissed as a death cult, but that it simply teaches one to be chosen only after having done their very best. The Commander shows Dean the runes burned into his skin; Dean recognizes only the protection rune from Loki’s chain. The Commander speaks of his god, Odin, and of worthiness—not knowing when his end will come. Dean asks whether one who prays for wealth simply receives it, or instead receives the opportunity to earn it; whether one who prays to be worthy simply becomes so, or is given the chance to prove it.
The Commander admits that after all these years of friendship, he is still surprised by Dean’s occasional wisdom. Dean replies that it is not his own—he merely passes on what he himself was given. They agree that the will of the gods is often incomprehensible and that questioning their intent is madness. In the end, they joke that they have reached a consensus after all these years. They have long since become symbols of hope. It is not beautiful work—but it is necessary.
The Commander asks Dean whether he is ready for a final war against humanity, explaining that he plans to rearm heavily in Moscow. Dean answers that he is no soldier and never wanted to be one, yet here he is, doing exactly that. Wherever this road leads, he promises to appear as the symbol the Commander needs. The Commander agrees.
Later, the Commander experiences a vision—apparently initiated by the Orb—of using it within the Heart of the Void to destroy the Administrators. He retrieves the Orb from the Twilight headquarters and orders the Twilight to prepare for hundreds of background checks.
After a jump to Brügge and a four-day reload, the Commander tells Dean about the vision. Dean cautions that it may have been the influence of a Chaos God. The Commander says he will think it over.
The Twilight then jumps to Moscow. There, assets are purchased and evaluated, including the glass cannon known as the Kabuki Dragon. Dean speaks with Danny of the Lucifer’s Sons, who now commands seventy people. Danny is instructed to maintain order and counter street-level scheming with organized recruitment.
The ship then jumps toward Lis. During routine scans, an EM signature is detected and identified as the NRA vessel NRA Kursk. The crew boards the ship—Dean, the Commander, Kallopa, Tulip, and Ferris—and discovers red matter contained within a magnetic trap, along with charged Wiodian batteries. They immediately request a transportable magnetic containment unit.

![]()
The session begins aboard the NRA Kursk, where the crew works to transfer the red sphere to the Twilight. A magnetic containment trap is constructed aboard the Twilight, delivered by shuttle to the Kursk, and successfully used by Dean to secure the red matter. Once transferred, the crate containing the red matter is stored—once again—in the familiar cleaning-supplies shelf aboard the Twilight. Over the following two days, the charged Wiodian batteries are also moved onto the ship.
Meanwhile, Casper is tasked with extracting data from the Kursk’s systems. He uncovers a key used to manipulate Wiodian and learns that the red matter is referred to as “Solaris Ruber.” The crew briefly considers claiming the Kursk as their own vessel. To that end, a volunteer crew is assembled under Junior Commander Guruba to take command of the ship.
Commander Zoldak addresses the entire crew in a live video briefing, explaining the plan: the Kursk—now dubbed the Kursk-Dragon—is to be crewed by volunteers and sent directly into the Pupunooli system deep within CSM space. Volunteers include Guruba, Gretchen, Ferris, Lizzy, Carter, and roughly twenty-five deckhands and technicians. The Commander formally approves the detachment.
Dean asks Lizzy to join the Twilight’s internal news and communications service under Dee, citing her strong moral compass. Together with Carter, he brings her to Twilight HQ, where Dee welcomes her into the group. Carter promises to look after Ferris and Guruba, for which Dean is openly grateful. Hollis requests permission to accompany Guruba on the mission and receives the Commander’s approval.
Before departure, Ferris and Dean share an emotional farewell, with Ferris tearfully promising to get everyone home safely. Dean gifts Ferris a cleaning drone stocked with refreshments and weapons. The Dragon’s Twilight then jumps toward Doma, stopping in an empty system; due to Gretchen’s absence, the jump core requires eight days to recharge.
During the downtime, Dean finds Casper maintaining the submachine gun Ferris once gave him while simultaneously interfacing with the ship’s network. Dean gives Casper a gift for Dee—weed—to prepare her for an uncomfortable conversation. Elsewhere, the Commander speaks with Grump, who jokes about finally getting a professional psychologist. Beneath the humor, Grump admits he feels sidelined and wants to fight alongside the crew again, both in combat and in quieter moments. The Commander reinstates him fully, restores his rank and authority, and returns him to his battledress. Grump begins training with the Commander immediately.
After another jump and reload, the Commander confronts Dean, who is heavily intoxicated. He asks Dean to attempt contacting Loki—or Loki’s echo—to learn more about the red matter. They argue over Grump’s reinstatement: Dean considers it a security risk, while the Commander insists it was Grump’s choice and welcomes him back as family.
That evening, Dean meets Dee in Twilight HQ. They smoke together, and Dean apologizes for their last argument. Dee confronts his drinking, arguing that those who died under his command would never want him to punish himself this way. Dean insists it is about loyalty to the end. Despite her efforts, he continues drinking as he leaves.
During the next jump, Dean positions himself on the ship’s exterior and experiences a vision: he finds himself in a medical room with Loki present and Ell lying on life support. Loki, surprised by Dean’s presence, discusses Administrators, universes, and boundaries of existence. When Dean admits he ended Ell’s life by shutting down life support, Loki asks whether Dean would do the same for him, as he is tired and now exists only as information. Loki explains that the red matter is latent energy, usable as a power source. Dean returns to reality, prints whiskey, briefly speaks with Grace—who wishes to remain aboard until passing through the Gate—and withdraws.
In the following system, during a five-day reload, the Commander undergoes surgery to allow him to wear battledress in the future. Tensions rise when Dean confronts Grump again about loyalty; Grump is deeply hurt, angrily tells Dean he is glad Dean is not in command, and walks away.
The Twilight then jumps to an unknown system above St. Petersburg, recharges, and waits eleven days to rendezvous with strike fleets near Doma. During this time, the crew conducts a systematic scan of the system for Administrators, artifacts, or NRA ships. Dean plays chess with Grace, narrowly defeating her after a brief, respectful exchange.
The Commander retrieves Jin and Kiumi Baotze from Dr. Summers and places them under Dee’s protection for the duration of the war against the Hollows. The ship then jumps to St. Petersburg, where Hollow strike fleets are encountered. As the Twilight retreats to buy time, Dean broadcasts footage of Gracy May Wilkinson’s execution. The reply is simple: “Your world will burn.” Shortly thereafter, allied strike fleets arrive and begin hunting the Hollows.
Orbital scans reveal a massive, unidentified EM signature and a psi-active artifact on the planet below—partially shielded. A ground team is assembled: the Commander, Dean, Grump, Kallopa, and Jarakume. Licner identifies a planet-killer weapon thought destroyed on Devon. The crew lands on Doma near a frigate suspected of housing the weapon.
While allied forces assault Roanoke, the team raids the frigate. They fight their way to a psyker manipulating an artifact pyramid to arm the weapon. After an intense battle, the psyker is killed, the weapon disarmed, and Doma is saved from destruction.
With this victory, only the conflict with CredSec and escape from the sector remain.
The final chapter of the crew has begun.

We start off at the aftermath of the battle on Doma. The fighting—both on the ground and in orbit—has ended decisively in the crew’s favor, and wounded zealots are being treated. With the conflict over, the crew shuttles to the Burial Mountain.
Dean arrives carrying alcohol—two small glasses and a bottle of bourbon whisky, something he has never drunk before—as well as folders filled with paper and materials for building a shrine. Summers notices the alcohol, but not the significance of the bourbon. The mountain is untouched, and the shrine city at its summit has been fully completed. At the top stands a finished gate of printed stone, bearing a traditional Shiguen inscription: “Let go of the past, so the future may have a chance.”
Dean guides Summers through the Zen Garden to Grump’s grave, which has since become symbolic after it was revealed that Grump is alive. Beside it lies Gillian Kodiak’s grave. Dean unpacks his materials and builds shrines for Mingus and Button, the most recently fallen. Paul’s grave is placed next to Mingus’s, his husband. Summers buries her husband in a traditional and composed manner—tears glimmer in her eyes, but she appears at peace and nods gratefully to Dean.
The Commander buries his entire family, then erects a shrine for all soldiers who died under his command. He also places a shrine for James Isaac Wilkinson, brother of Gracy May Wilkinson and the origin of her desire for revenge. Dean places the plasma launcher marked “for Paul” at Paul’s grave and quietly apologizes for delivering it so late.
Three additional plateaus on the Burial Mountain hold pillars with plaques. Dean bows at the first two, bearing the names Sergeant Hayes and Zach Able. While this happens, the Commander builds a funeral pyre, burying a lead-lined box containing a compad beneath the wood. Dean pours two drinks at Able’s pillar and apologizes for the long delay, admitting he only recently understood why it had taken so long. He crushes the bottle afterward—for the future, Mirai.
The Commander ignites the pyre, adding herbs that burn in multicolored flames. He heats a branding iron in the fire and hands it to Dean, who presses the symbol between the Commander’s shoulder blades, overwriting an older rune with a hammer and sickle.
They return to the ship, where crates of stone tablets—recording the crew’s history from the very beginning—are stored in the tunnel leading to the Leviathan. The captured CSM ship Rzashh is officially renamed Doma Dragon. Upon departing Doma, sensors register the first measurable rise in temperature across all systems.
The crew jumps to Jelka for an eight-day power-core reload. During this time, Summers learns that Dean has quit drinking. She embraces him and simply says, “Good.” In the asteroid fields of Jelka, the crew discovers remnants of the Lydyanev battlefield and recovers a destroyed Wiodian weapons platform.
A long sequence of jumps follows—Brest, an unknown system near a black hole, systems 1612 and 1313, and several empty systems—with extended reloads. Fennet develops an advanced navigation profile that reduces resource consumption, shortening future reload times. During one jump, the crew covertly encounters three CSM exploration vessels, scans them, and sends a deliberately provocative message before jumping away.
Further jumps include minor encounters and personal moments, including a brief exchange between Dean and Grace, who firmly rejects being labeled with an “e-thot” tag. Another taunting message is transmitted before departure. Under Watch, Urakao—Grace’s sister—is detected aboard the stealth frigate Shinji.
In a quiet moment in the sensor suite, Dean meets the Commander, bringing cigars and scotch. He speaks about the exhaustion he sees in the Commander, describing it as a fire that has driven him relentlessly. Dean suggests that the cracks forming in the Commander are not failures, but openings through which light can shine outward for others to see. He encourages him, believing that everything the Commander is enduring has meaning, even if it is not yet clear.
The Commander agrees, but admits he feels his task may soon be complete. Dean counters that the Commander’s symbol has grown larger than any individual—that they fought this war to prevent future ones and laid a foundation others can build upon. The Commander corrects him: they themselves are the foundation, and those who follow are the next level. They discuss the core ideals of the Sprava Group, how its legacy may endure or fail, and how it could reach its full potential—much like the ECB, which did not truly fail despite defeat.
Dean notes how much the Commander resembles his first sergeant, Sgt. Hayes, now speaking the same words once spoken to him. The Commander accepts this with respect and reflects that in his ideal world, people must stand together when things become hard. As Dean leaves, he pauses, smiles, and says he is glad the Commander seems better. The Commander replies in kind and calls after him with a familiar question: “Vanilla or strawberry?”
Dean answers: “Both.”
